NECA 1/4 Scale TMNT 1990's Turtles

These are my first neca figures. People throwing the word grail around alot. But doesnt neca produce figures in the tens of thousands? Cant see them being too hard to find. Are there any current rare neca grail figures?

Well, they can get hard to find. Try and purchase a 1/4 Neca Joker right now. You're likely paying in the $150 range. Not too crazy, but just an example. The classic Superman also. Master Chief (Halo) can be overpriced as well.
With these TMNT figures being the only ones of their kind in any scale, it could get really rare really quickly which would drive the price up.

Once they are sold out they will double if not triple the price.... Try getting their 1/4 Predator closed mouth or open mouth for Under $200 good luck. Same with Elder. Keaton was going for 250+ before he got re-released.

Whoa thats crazy. But the open and closed mouths, are they variants? Cause variants are different. I used to work for toysrus and i remember those were 1 in every case sometimes 2 cases.

Sorta but again their Keaton before he was re-released this year went fro 250+.... And ppl actually bought him for that price.

Glad I kept my BBTS pre order for this guy. Got Ralph on order at Dorkside Toys which offered a good shipping rate. If Leo or Mike pop up at Calendars with the same special they had earlier then I will get them there.

To me, grail isn't determined. BY the price of the figure, it's how well they did in representing the character

I really love that NECA is giving us this but I might only get one my favourite "Racheal"! It's not a money thing. I love these but I think that four 1/4 scale turtles in my display area might be overkill and too dominant! I'm not 100% on this decision yet.

And I think this should perhaps be an exception to your rule. Really, if you buy one you have to buy them all. If you're not prepared to do that then don't buy any. A single Turtle alone makes no sense.

I plan on giving them their own shelf. That way their scales don't stand out as much. I have other 1/4 scale figures and statues, so it shouldn't be too bad anyway.

It's exactly what I'm planning to do as well though, Leonardo and that's it. Don't need more to represent the TMNT franchise for me.
