some of you are being too nitpicky with quality issues. this is not painted right. this doesn't appear even. the plastic it too thin. be grateful these are even made and your entitled self has this in possession.

While I do agree sometimes people can be a bit too picky I have to say a wonky eye is not nitpicking. A wonky eye destroys the entire aesthetic due to so much of expression coming from the eyes (look at sideshow beetlejuice). Also I'm having to pay over $170 for each of these so won't be happy if Donatello looks more like Marty Feldman in Young Frankenstein than a 90's Ninja Turtle. $100 is still $100 and could be the only spare cash some people have for a month.

I'd say invest in some eye decals off of eBay. Paint the eye white and lay on the decal.

Well, I switched all my preorders to Entertainment Earth… hoping that they come through on all of these,
but with the 15% discount and free shipping, it was too good to pass on.

I would assume that NECA has a pre-determined number on preorders and won't cancel orders
from online stores?

Cant stop looking at Raph. Such a bad ass

Entertainment Earth requests a specific number of figures from NECA and doesn't take more pre-orders than they've requested stock for. However, sometimes NECA shorts Entertainment Earth (and other retailers) and isn't able to fulfill all the product that was ordered. Orders are filled in the order they were received in, so last minute people are the ones who's orders could be dropped. Those of you switching around just to save a few bucks might want to reconsider less you get left out completely.

Not sure I've been very lucky here. Worried my Donnie might be too cross eyed.

Does that look right or should I be asking NECA for a replacement head?
How much movement should there be inside the shell? He feels quite loose in there.

Oh and I really hate these damn twist ties! Can't they think of any better way to package these things.

Complain Much?

Switching over to EE even with the discount only saved me $2. Even though I'm a little shaking about Calendars I stuck with them since I ordered through them awhile ago. My exact worry was being one of the tail-end orders and getting dropped.

:lol I think they were legitimate complaints.
A cross eyed figure shouldn't pass quality control. My Donnie is so loose in his shell he falls forward all the time, getting him to stand up is harder than it should be without literally leaning him against the wall. It cost me £280($340) to get them here so sorry for not expecting such obvious flaws. I'm still very glad to have them, just being honest. They are stunning figures don't get me wrong, just saying quality control is obviously an issue NECA are dealing with on these.

And really, who actually like those twist ties? :lol

The joints are hidden so cleverly, they really they don't look toyish at all. Those QC issues aside these are worth way more than the $100 price tag.

I dont think your concerns were out of line. Especially since you aren't able to get replacements easily. :hi5:

:hi5: Thank you, I still think they are awesome overall. I can work around Donnie's stability issue but the cross eyed thing is hard to ignore. If NECA get any more of him I might see if I can exchange this one.

Raph is perfect though, his sculpt matches anything Hot Toys have ever done and I love my Hot Toys figures so it's not like I'm saying that as a hater.
He, Leo or Mikey could easily be figure of the year for 2017. Problem for them is they'll split the vote and allow another figure to steal the crown! :lol

Nothing fancy but put some lights in my Cabinet... Don't mind Joker he's chilling til he gets his own cabinet with Begins Batman.

Wow just tried to track the stats on my figures coming to the UK (yes I'm bored).
From what I see it has passed through hands in 5 different states (that were recorded).
Gardena california
Hodgkins illinois
Cincinatti ohio
Erlanger kentucky - ebay shipping centre
Flight ba182 out of new york

It then arrived at London heathrow where I live close to, was then driven all the way up to Warrington manchester which is over 4 hours away by car, only to be sorted and likely passed to a courier service who will then use their own methods to transfer him BACK to the outskirts of london where I live. These things have travelled the world more than I have! I be stunned if they are in one piece by the time it arrives at my door. Oh well its only been 2 weeks and one day so far... but who's counting?
