Haha, yes that'll be me
Haha! Thought so! Nice to see you on the same forums! You still collecting the DS Muppets? The new waves are looking good. I nearly got myself the Fozzie replica that is in Nottingham but my wife put a stop on it once she saw the price! I am kinda glad she did as I think Terry Angus can build it at a fraction of the cost.

Not sure I've been very lucky here. Worried my Donnie might be too cross eyed.

Does that look right or should I be asking NECA for a replacement head?
How much movement should there be inside the shell? He feels quite loose in there.

Also one of those silicone bags has burst inside my Raph box, bit of a mess in there.

Oh and I really hate these damn twist ties! Can't they think of any better way to package these things.

Don't bother asking Neca for anything. I've been trying to get a replacement head for my Donnie for over a week, going through Neca customer service through Amazon and through Twitter. Both of them have said they cant do anything and wont be able to since they are always sold out. All they can do is offer a refund if you send it back to them, and they said I should do that then try finding another Donnie by luck later on. My Donnie is also really really loose too and its almost impossible to get him into any poses since he wont really stand straight. Its totally BS

That doesn't sound good at all. :(
Looks like I'll have to stick with it, sending it back for a refund from the UK would be a nightmare to say the least.

I think my Raph might have an issue to. The front of the shell is lopsided to the right. I assume it isn't supposed to be like that?

You should be able to adjust the shell or at least the body inside. But hey don't feel bad, Like I said my Donnie is screwed up and I got my Raph the same day and that was screwed up as well. Under the face there are white spots which looks like either they forgot to paint or was chipped off and the bottom of the front shell came looking like the paint job from hell. The front of my Donnies face looks like they went crazy with the dark spots as it went all the way to his upper lip. Great Job Neca, so happy I paid $230 for 2 messed up figures.

Sorry you got so unlucky with paint defects on both, that's a seriously tough break.
You're right I think I can make my Raph good with some adjustment. Donnie is more of a worry, I can get him to stand but its nowhere near as easy as Raph. Not sure I'd trust him not to keel over eventually. It's a shame the quality control is so poor, the figures are absolutely stunning. Details on their faces are insane!

Haha women eh! Yeah still collecting the Muppets although Diamond Select seem to be painfully slow in getting each series out!

When Leonardo is going to release, then Neca will have a better Raphael ( removed the lines ) on their shop for sale.
But Leonardo face is wrong ( whatever that is ). Later Michelangelo is on sale, but Leonardo is also on sale, but better than the previous Leonardo with mistakes.

We have to buy two Donatellos, two Raphaels, two Leonardos, two Michelangelos.

Old Donatello - black spots
New Donatello - black spots removed

Old Raphael - lines
New Raphael - lines removed

Old Leonardo - mistakes on his face ( whatever that is )
New Leonardo - mistakes removed

Lol.

No problem, guys. Just take it easy on the scalping!:arr

Hope the code comes back when Mikey goes up for pre-order. So far I've gotten all 3 for $85 each.

No scalping here, friend.
The multiples I buy I have no intention of selling. When something comes along that I really like, I always buy multiples. It's just my way of really appreciating a specific sculpt.

The shell may be a more tough fix but the paints can be fixed fairly easily if you're wanting a walkhrough.

Well my gf is a painter and is going to try and fix it for me. But if you know just what shades of green and brown to use to fix it up that would help a lot.

Actually, if you use like a tiny amount of green and apply to yellow (slightly darker shade of yellow), you can touch up the scraped mouth area with that. They used a yellow and green mix to highlight tones on the skin.

For the shell, do a diluted leather brown color and dab it up with ease.

you have two options for the underside of the chin: 1) use a diluted grey mixed with green color and apply over that area slightly, it will make the spots less pronounced. 2) mix dark green with hint of brown, grey, and tiniest amount of yellow to cover up the spots.

some of you are being too nitpicky with quality issues. this is not painted right. this doesn't appear even. the plastic it too thin. be grateful these are even made and your entitled self has this in possession.

Your kidding right lol....some of don't have money coming out our *** and it takes forever to save up to get these. For as much as they cost they should be done correct. Were not talking about a cheap $20 Hasbro black series figure here.

This response was unnecessary and could have been delivered in a better way

Here is a quick picture of the 2 Turtles. Gotta give it Neca..these are amazing on a shelf.
