With plans to repaint my own and many others' who have asked, it's good to see that this guy comes completely apart without being totally ruined. Nice.

Waiting on some netting, but here's the state of my Pred:

Have you ore Joe Duneway repainted the Eyes with Pupils ?
Looks like the yellow-gray Neca paintjob.

Where did you get the bristles ? And how did you installed it?

Can you or Joe Duneway get a picture from above(Head with pattern) ?

NECA netting?
Naw, the netting that I think would work is pond netting. I found some that's 1/4" mesh. Problem is that I've only found it online and the minimum order is 6' x 14' at around $45-46. Encline has the best netting it's just that the squares are too large.
Hey, look, Jack the Ripper got a hold of this one :lol:lol:lol
Hey, I was gentle.:panic:

When I posted that pic I hoped people would use it to see how easy this figure is to take apart.
SOME HEADS UP:
*the neck is one piece and glued to the body.
*the chest is hollow. That white piece you see in the front is the glued piece at the waist. It was used to hold in the netting.
*To remove the legs and torso there are 3 screws: one you can see when you lift up the skirt. The other two are at the waist. The loin cloth is glued to the waist, just pull it off and you'll see the screws. From there the legs just fall off as does the waist.

PS: if pics are needed just lmk.

But how do you know it will be the correct size?
1/4 could mean anything, right?

No, 1/4" means that the square opening is 1/4" all around. At least in the way I've been going around and looking for this net. I'm specifically asking if the squares are 1/4". And I've been measuring.

The netting should be closer to 3/16", but that's been a far more difficult task in finding and making it look not so thick. The netting encline used looks like it's 3/8." The style looks fantastic, it's just that the square is too big.

And actually I'm learning more about nets then I'll ever need to know. Just say, "quarter inch mesh" and they'll know what you're talking about. I guess on the other side of the pond you could say, "10mm mesh." That might be slightly too large.

I see. Thanks for clearing that up.
Could you please give me the link to that netting once youve got it?
Thanks.

I'll definitely post it up once I order it and get it. I wouldn't want people ordering it and it doesn't work. They've sent me a better picturethen what they have on their site, but I'm not convinced it will work yet. Something about where the netting crosses doesn't look right.

let me get the picture and I'll show you....

Here's the pic:

The crossings look thicker then I would like.

Yeah, the area where they cross is thicker than I would like, too.
Great find though. I wonder how hard it would be to make string netting from scratch? There must be some kind of device that could be built to make things easy.:dunno
I'll probably do some research on it soon.
