Action Figure Neca 1/4th Predator Custom Mod Thread Only

Just thought Id share some small modifications I did earlier today -

I used brown leather 1mm thick round lace. I cut all the plasic rope from out the skulls and painted where I had cut.
The rope actually goes through the skulls now.
Small detail but I think it looks more accurate and cleaner now.

Have you ore Joe Duneway repainted the Eyes with Pupils ?
Looks like the yellow-gray Neca paintjob.

Where did you get the bristles ? And how did you installed it?

Can you or Joe Duneway get a picture from above(Head with pattern) ?

This really does look so great. I'd love to get Joe do paint one for myself. WOW I can't get over how nice it looks.

Some small additions and accessories update for my Preds...

I plan to paint the green parts gloss black, trim off the tiny spiny parts and use them as quills, should be fun.

One of the skulls I ordered from Ashkanis, I know he didn't wear the human skulls around himself like that in the film but I still think it looks cool.

Another skull. You can't really pick it up in the pic but I shot the open and closed mouth Pred's heads with a gloss clear coat, it didn't look slimy enough from the box.

Added some moss and more parts from one of my 12" McFarlane Pred bases, I also redid the blood and added more.

The custom LED bio from Ashkanis, much better than the stock bio that came with the figure which I have placed...

Just a shot of the open mouth, no changes other than the clear coat.

I will take more pics when I've added the quills.

Has anyone noticed the shoulder cannon mount sits way to high off the figures shoulders? i was just looking at mine after seeing the pic above of the Real Predator and i can't help to point that out , its really bugging me

So I got this stuff on ebay, its a putty type material and you can roll it out like play doe and when it dries it is strong and spongy. I tried it out and it would work good for predator quills (it can be made to any size and thickness) I might use it on my 1/4 scale Pred. It is a black material but it doesn't match the color of NECA dreds, nothing a little paint wont fix. My question is what is the best type of paint for rubber or latex, the paint will need to have some flex to it.

These are my test dreds, they were dry in about 10 minutes.
