That's a lot of work though for a base figure.

But don't take my word for it..even with these crappy phone pics...masterpieces!

The two together still awesome

Can you believe this was the VG version
Bravo Twayne!

All three figures are back in stock on eBay. They still haven't shipped my order of all 3 from a month ago. I've sent two messages and no reply so far. Might have to start a case.

If it makes you feel any better, when they were late with my final CRS order they told me they ship the items when they get them in stock from the manufacturer.

But a month was a little late for your order, but I think that was about right when I recall with my last order.

BtW, yikes only one CRS DVD option this time

Looks like an over abundance of Heroclix figure options and only one option DVD bundle for each Joker and 66 Batman

The best advice I can give is to just keep trying to contact them. I also had some orders placed on Oct. 28th that never shipped, and after contacting them non-stop since the 20th I finally just got an answer today. Hopefully they will be more quick about replying to my response so It's not a prolonged game of e-mail tag. Since the last delivery estimated delivery date was the 19th, I have 30 days from then to file a case. I'd rather just e-mail them and get my figures sent out that way, but if they continue to ignore e-mails I'll have no choice but to file a case too so I don't go past that 30 day mark.

Also, I don't know if it helped or not, but I did contact the gohastings.com service e-mail address and after speaking with them on the phone they said they would forward my e-mail to the proper department that handles the WB store, so you could try that too.

I forgot to add one of my emails did say if I didn't hear from them, I said I would open a case and they did get back to me quicker, so the old scare tatic doesn't hurt :wink1:

Damn, thanks so much for the kind words! I'm still working on your guys other 89's don't worry! I have to make them absolutely perfect haha.

That video game to movie accurate custom was a challenge, it was my first go at him, but I know my way around the figure better now. I still want to get a few to make some Kenner variants for fun, as soon as I can get around to it. Those will probably be the Video Game version base.

I was able to nab a Reeve Supes from gohastings website, just pure luck, and I can't wait to get him. If he's a pile of crap quality wise, then he's going on the custom desk to be transformed into something much better haha.

The thing that I love most about the Keaton, West, Ledger and Reeve is the implementation of the hidden ab crunch joints. It's pretty ingenious how they hid the joint under Keaton's chest armor (along with that fantastic cowl), the joints under the flexible "shirts" with West and Reeve and the complex swivel and crunch underneath Ledger's clothes. Solid design choices that I find go unnoticed in people's reviews. Seems like a lot of people just assume there's no movement to be had in there, especially with West and Ledger.

That along with Keaton's cowl really have pushed the envelope with these 6", 7" figures.

Now if they just used better quality plastic for those joints.

Yeah I know, I love there use of the rubber bodysuit under the articulation. I know it somewhat hinders the movement but overall it keeps the look of the figure perfect.

QC aside, NECA is pretty crafty with hiding POA but not reducing them. Since their figures are completely sculpted, they really work hard to maintain the integrity of the character's appearance while giving the most possibility.

I have something like 40-50 NECA figures and Keaton Batman is high up on the list of impressiveness, amazing things achieved on the small scale.

IMO, the physical makeup and design of the problem QC points ( For ex: on the CRS ) are fine, the arms, legs and hips.

It's the connecting hinge joints that need to be refined. Perhaps a revamp of making a double hinge like on a HT TT with stronger plastic would be better implemented on the arms so that way when it flexes it is more fluent and less stressful on the hinge joints, same goes for the legs.

I do like the hip design and how you can get pretty good flexibility off with the spreading but again the ball socket combination to the abs plastic used to connect the crotch piece to the legs is too tight and flimsy designed, it should be a lot stronger like a HT TT hip joint.

They also should use a broader ball joint on the feet and neck to allow more up and down swivel movement :lecture

Yeah, that's the bottom line, they need to use quality plastic for the joints. Do that and these figures are 10/10 for the most part (other than the weird splotches and paint/mold choices on the West Batman that make him look dirty).

I ordered the 1/4 Superman from calendars.com for $70 shipped using one of those codes, really looking forward to actually handling this figure's sculpt in person.

How did you get it so cheap. I went on and saw it's still $99.

Google their coupon codes. I used one of the ones they had for Monday, it was "CAL20" or something. There's one now for 20% off plus free shipping.
