Received the Hicks/Warrior 2 pack today. Its alright but, I dunno, after those Dutch figures I can't help but be continually disappointed with the marines. They just aren't on the same level as far as quality. And the alien looks like he's gonna have a warped leg as usual (haven't opened it yet) thanks to the packaging. I don't think I've ever gotten an Alien without a wonky leg of some kind.

Yeah, the cool factor is at an all time high with the marines, but they are terribly made. Every single one is warped inside the package. The camo also looks nothing like a camo pattern. Just looks like random colored paint brush blobs and strokes. Such a let down. Still cool on the shelf though.

Very common. As I said I can't remember getting an Alien from NECA who didn't have a warped leg.

Opened my figure about an hour ago and sure enough, leg is ****ed. Can't stand to save his life. although with his head blown open I guess he's gonna die anyway

I found a pretty cheap Mcfarlane Queen do you guys think I should get it or wait for NECAs?

I sold mine in anticipation of NECA's. McFarlane's was great for its day but still isn't even close to what the Queen looked like.

Both my marines and alien had warped legs (Marines also had very loose ankles) Hudson fell so many times his rear camera snapped every time, so ive had to repair it every time!@
With the legs, ive just put the hot hair dryer on em till soft, then run the legs under cold water, then hold them in place (straight) with a rubber band for a few hours. marines legs are fixed, but the alien for some reason just wont straighten up.

Its a damn shame because as usual the sculpts are great on the Aliens. crappy plastic.

Nope. I am starting to think the crooked leg is not a "warped leg" but an odd design choice. I own the brown warrior, the genocide pair, and 3 battle damaged from the 2 packs, and all have it. Some are worse than others, sure. But ALL have it.

I have no complaints from any of the marines I own. All of them look good and I didn't realize crooked marine legs were a problem.

I didn't have a problem with Hudson but I had him with clear stands

Am I the only one (Rider's comments, of course, are invalid) who thinks the screaming Hicks face sculpt doesn't look like Biehn at all?
