This is pretty good news, as from what I have heard in the past Jenette Goldstein is very open to the idea... for the right price though. I reckon this is going to be our first smart-gunner figure! but it might not be for a long time.

What's the "right price"? I wonder what these actors expect and what are their expectations based on? What are they looking for? A buck a figure? Two bucks? Fifty cents? A quarter?

C'mon NECA pay her. Even if you don't do Drake, Vasquez is essential as one of the 3 marines who make it out of the Sub-Level 3 battle into the rest of the film. And you can get at least 2 variants out of her - fully kitted-out Smartgun look (sub level 3 battle) and basic pulse-rifle look from the Operations battle. And heck you'd actually get even more variants out of Drake - fully kitted-out smartgun look/ stripped down to flamethrower look/ acid-face battledamage version.

So what's a "little money"? How much is she asking for? I'm interested to hear what she's asking, what they want to pay and what's the going rate...

Nobody knows that but Jenette and NECA, and unfortunately it doesn't sound like there's been any contact (until maybe very recently) between them since fans asked her and NECA about a Vasquez figure back in February of 2013. Anyway, it's unlikely she would want Schwarzenegger money or Weaver money or even howeverthe****much Carl Weathers wanted. I assume she's talked to Michael Biehn and/or Bill Paxton since then to get an idea of what they were paid and that she would want a similar amount. Question is, would NECA be willing to give her a similar deal? Because they should.

So I don't know about you guys but I wouldn't of minded a Burke figure kinda sad that we now know we will never get one, I would of thought he would be fairly easy to get his likeness but from Neca view they probably think that he's not popular enough to warrant a figure and would receive poor sales. Which is fair enough, I mean there's loads I would want before Burke.

On the plus side they did not outright say "no chance" to a Apone figure, so who knows looks like they have been discussing their next marines and from what we know Vasquez and Apone at-least have a chance. I would be more than happy with them, what do you lot think and who do you think should be our next marine / human character.

I think actors should get payed but if it's a 30 year old film I wouldn't expect much. I don't think neca makes high dollars on these figures. I guess unless someone on the inside sheds some light we will never know
