I'm still deciding.....Queen or SS R2 D2. Can't have both because HT Robocop is right there too.....DAMN!!!

Looks great, but $100+ for this is a bit more than I can spend right now (I'm focusing more on SW 1:6). How do the prices hold up for Neca Alien stuff? Any chance the queen will be available down the line at a discounted price?

Thanks for the Pixel Dan review, fellas! You :rock

This was pretty much a buy for me, but I don't think I should dawdle. Unlike the NECA ED, this may not be around all that long.

I have not checked Ebay. Is the Ed a slow seller. I don't own him/it

I ended up passing on the deal, but ThinkGeek was blowing him out for around $50 several months ago. The CS rep I was chatting with said it was a disaster.

Back to the Queen, kinda odd that the inner mouth doesn't retract. Instead, it's an interchangeable short/extended mouth setup. Maybe this was done because of breakage-in-box concerns?

Also, the figure rests atop either of two, they appear to be metallic, poles, but there doesn't seem to be any rubber topper or anything like that on them, so they may dig into the very top-heavy Queen. Not liking that. Maybe it's all moot anyway, because I plan on keeping it in the box.

Kyle's sculpt seems to have made its way nicely through production. Plus the paint apps, and all of the highlights, look positively gorgeous. Well done, NECA! :clap

Thigh joints also seem to have loosened a bit on Pixel Dan's figure, due to the weight of the piece.

Other than these minor quibbles, is there a better figure this year in the 6-, 7-inch scale? You could display it with your Hot Toys and other than scale, it wouldn't look out of place.

Kinda wish they some how made her be able to stand on her own without a stand. Also, the entire stand should be transparent so it would be unnoticeable. She has very loose hips out of the box which is a bummer. With a gangly thin figure like this they maybe should have used lighter plastic. Having said that, I want mine NOW!

She looks stunning!
I do agree its a concern for loose joints but then again, the Queen will always be top heavy so if you want articulation all the way its going to be impossible to avoid it.
