So let's see... At the very least I hope we get all of the USCM Sulaco squadron. To do that we need the following.

Lieutenant S. Gorman
ECA L. Bishop (Series 5 and 7)
Gunnery Sgt. A. Apone
Cpl. Dwayne Hicks (Series 1&2 pack)
Cpl. C. Ferro
Cpl. C. Dietrich
PFC W. Hudson (Series 1&2 pack)
PFC D. Spunkmeyer
PFC J. Vasquez
Private M. Drake
Private R. Frost
Private T. Crowe
Private T. Wierzbowski
We also need a Burke and standard Ripley (with outer jacket from when they first landed on Acheron)

They have quite a few more figures to make to complete the squad by I don't mind. With as expansive as they've made the Predator line I'm actually pretty confident that it may be done. I just kinda hope they stop repeating the same characters and start on ones that haven't been done yet. IE: 2 Hicks and 2 Hudsons.

... I'm afraid we won't be see even half of those, but who knows, if they throw enough money at the actors we might see a few surprises

the longer lips version is a mistake right? since on twitter they said there are variants with the 'inner mouth' and don't mention the lips

I wonder if theres any chance Neca would give us an APC for these Marines with a special edition figure? Maybe Gorman seated at the monitors or something. Man that would be cool but geeezzzzzzzz would they charge a lot for it. Figure the Power Loader, which holds one figure is $100.00 so you'd need a vehicle to house all of the Marines... they would easily charge close to $1k. Sigh....
Yup, I'm dreaming
It might not be all that unfeasible, actually. If they just made the chassis a hollow block with no internal detail, they could probably make a semi-affordable APC scaled to the figures. It would just be a display-piece rather than a true vehicle/playset.

They aren't a mistake. The variations are 1 with lips closed and inner mouth shut. 2. Lips open inner mouth open.

That stand works perfectly, can't even tell it's attached to one. Good work. I dunno why NECA doesn't include similar stands for their 18" figures like they said they would.

Well I can confirm that the mouth variation is in fact different on each piece and the lips do NOT retract into the dome. Just came from a local FYE store and I was shocked to see that they had two 1:4 scale Aliens. One of which had the lips retracted and the inner mouth open. I took a pic of them next to each other before I bought the limited open mouth version. I'll post a pic when I get home. Not sure how to post pics from my phone...

So just a heads up everyone. Hunt around local shops because they're out there.

I have to admit that seeing them side by side really does show how the limited one looks much better. It's a shame it's now a crap shoot to get one.

Great review!! I can't post pics for some reason... My photobucket account crapped the bed. Sigh...

I don't think the variant is as rare as people think. A lot of people are finding them. I think it's equal amounts put out.

Great video....looking at it though when he's talking about the difficulty of putting the pieces on the back, it looks like the bottom-right piece is real similar to the top-left piece but mirrored....I know they are numbered but I'm wondering if he actually put the bottom right piece in the wrong place...sure he figured it out.

Got mine yesterday at FYE. They had both vesions. :D

marko could you post a pic of it with a fully closed mouth? Got a feeling it will look bad compared to the extended lips version, and the extended looks bad mouth open. wish they included both heads for a higher cost, i think many could pay
