...all I wanted at first for my Alien collection was the creatures and Ripley, but they just kept making great stuff so I said to myself "IF they can get New and Vasquez made I'll get Hicks, Hudson and Bishop as well." Now I'm looking for Dallas and Kane to go with Lambert next year, and I have WY Comandos on pre-order. Way to lure me in NECA!

I'd be great for fans to get Drak, but if they make him I'll probably skip it. Probably...

Yes, her smart gun with the support arm and wires looks great and Ripley's missing all that is what threw me off about the one packed with Ripley. Very happy with her smart gun, the muzzle flash and everything. Can't wait to get her and the rest of wave 9!

Yeah, but that headsculpt is phenomenal. They completely nailed Charlton Heston and the actual in hand paint work on the production versions are really, really well done.

It's a damn shame they didn't use that head for a 7" sculpted Taylor figure or two. You could tell a lot of work and love went into the accuracy and details of that headsculpt and the equipment backpack.

She looks amazing and as others have said the likeness is incredible. Makes me wonder more and more why they can't get the Ripley likeness as spot on sometimes. Regardless Vaz looks to be one of the most detailed and well thought out figures in the line. And the muzzle flash is a nice touch.

I am the same with this line. I keep thinking I will only get one more and thats it for me but they keep dropping great characters and aliens that I just keep picking them up.

Its hard to imagine what creature they could put in Series 9, unless its just another Xeno repaint.

I think when it comes to the Nostromo crew their civilian carb is what makes them unique but funnily enough also a much more difficult problem for NECA to recreate since that requires a lot more paint apps, tooling and probably some unique sculpting for each clothing piece for each figure. Very little reuse out of it in the end. But I also like the idea of two packing them and getting them out of the way that way. Brett and Parker and as two pack is a no brainer then.

Heck, give them to an online toy store like BBTS or Dorkside who cater specifically to the hardcore collector as a store exclusive.

Just looking over my orders on BBTS and I noticed that the price for the Alien 3 wave doesn't correspond with what I noted down on paper at the time I ordered. When I ordered it was $62.99 and now in my account it says $83.99. Did something change with that wave? It says it's a set of 4 but I thought there was only 3 figures - Ripley, Commando and Dog Alien - are both colour versions of the dog Alien now shipped with each case?

I kind of hope if there is a xeno in wave 9 that it is the warrior puppet they used in aliens. Ive always prefered it to the suit.
