NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Just saw the Aliens creature pack at Minotaur in Melbourne. It is a pretty cool set but on the down side I noticed with three of the sets some of the facehugger tales were either broken off completely or there was a tear noticeable where the tail connected to the main body. at 49.95 AU for one set it looks like I'm going have to go through them with a fine comb as it were to see which box has the least amount of damage.

That would be cool. I went ahead and got the single Hicks for a decent price on eBay a while back but have held off on getting Hudson because I really don't like either head sculpt. Hopefully they would make some improvements to the single version figures for the two pack and include a helmet with each. Just a straight up repackaging of the existing figures would be disappointing.

A two pack of them would be cool, but for me at least who already has the original carded singles I wonder how different they could make a two pack with the two of them. Maybe a more neutral face pose and a battle damaged Hicks swap out head would be cool from when he is bandaged up in the dropship. Hudson I could see them doing a cocky smiled face.

...don't get your hopes up. The two-pack is for all those people who missed out and want to get them. They will be the exact same figures and the only change it'll be, as the tweet says, the change to flesh tone plastic like the newer releases.

Aliens wave 9 is on tru.com now but I only found them using my phone, couldn't find them using my computer for some reason. I'm getting Frost & Vasquez from Necas ebay store today and I did order a couple more from TRU since these figures are like grails to me. I don't know when i'll bring myself to buy the albino but I will eventually

Out of the package. All the joints feel solid. The only breakage worry I have is the side attachment where the smart gun attaches to Vasquez's armor.

Heads up for anyone that has a Gohastings nearby, They have the Alien 3 figures at my nearest store (an hour away) they're on sale now for 40% off. I grabbed a second Commando and finally grabbed a Ripley for $14.99 each. I also got a torn in half Bishop that I was missing.

I almost had the Ancient Warrior Predator but someone else grabbed him, need that one, Chopper, and masked Scar. I'd also consider the Queen if it was discounted enough. They had none of them.

They had the Neca Powerloader which would be $60. I own the Hot Toys version so I didn't grab one. They also had video game version of Robocop, Pressure Suit Prometheus Engineer, Heat vision Dutch, the Neca Mego POTA Gorilla, and a few of the Dawn Planet of the Apes Neca figures along with a bunch of other stuff. The Prometheus figures were $7.20.

I'm sure the discounts will get better as they near their final days, they close in October.
