NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

I like this Neca eBay preorder thing, the opportunity to buy figures before they hit the shelves is great. It's just... I will not pay $20 for the figure and $20 more for the shipping.

All Drake news are great.
I believe that having Ripley, Apone, Hicks, Hudson, Vasquez and Drake is the bare minimum for this license. I am halfway finished with Apone, just waiting for that extra helmet from weapons pack.

The Aliens arsenal/weapons packs are up on Neca's ebay store for $29.99 with $10.99 shipping for 1 or $14.99 for 2.

They are the same price as a figure over here - $50 AUD - cheapest local shipping is $6 - which means I'll wait for an eBay knock off set with free shipping...

Its gonna cost me 50.00 AU for one weapons pack. Looks like I am just gonna pick up one set along with one Bomber Jacket Ripley and the Operations Vas. Its def becoming harder and harder to justify buying these things when given their size and questionable quality control they are no 50 a figure.

I feel like things in the US are going that direction unless you are patient and buy from tru.com for free shipping, i can't imagine what collectors everywhere else are going through with higher prices, higher shipping and customs fees. I know if I didn't live in the US i couldn't keep collecting at the prices others are paying.

Seems that way all over doesn't it ? I mean, I love Aliens and the films and all the stuff that we are getting in recent years but with the way the NECA figures keep going up in price yet they seem to ignore fans imploring them for more quality control on the paint apps and other QC issues, I do not know if I can keep going. Once I get my Queen, Alien 3 creature pack and the Power Loader from BBTS I have to seriously consider the Aliens line.

The Aliens film and Neca's line from that movie is my weakness so if it comes down to me having to skip everything not from the Aliens movie i will. With the prices on regular figs catching up to the ultimate figs prices it seems just a matter of time before the price of ultimates starts jumping too. Sucks but they are the only figures on the market that look great and have a good variety of figures.

Deja vu! I just ordered the weapons pack and popped into this thread. You were the last post when I ordered Ripley and Vasquez and came into this thread. You're the last post after ordering the pack. Happily, you didn't say they were sold out having me go back and check if I really did order them.

It's just the original Warrior Alien before Cameron decided to remove the dome as far as I know.

Burke looks fantastic. I can't believe we're already seeing packaged shots of this.

Still don't get the big chap in there , I bet they are avoid people getting a 2.0 warrior before the release of the ultimate set coming. But if I'm a betting man , I bet that is a 2.0 big chap in there. Every new alien I have bought has been a 2.0 .
The video game alien was ,and the blue prototype is too

Is it wrong that my first reaction is to be shocked how decent the paint apps on the face are ? He looks good though and the new warrior is an added bonus. From what I can see the sign looks decent too. All in all a good pack.

I still wish they would of given Burke a more neutral expression. Maybe they will make a business suit version with that then.

Yes it is wrong because the paint apps on a figure that they're showing off in package for the first time will always tend to be top of the line. I'm still pissed at the downgrade of the Predator 30th anniversary Dutch figures. Early reviewers got great ones.
