If Randy pushed back all other Alien and Predator releases to release the The Predator figures in conjunction with the movie, I don't see why he wouldn't do it again to get the Ultimate Wolf figure (that they've already spent money designing) out before a contract expires.

In another failure of resolve I have ordered Kenner Aliens. I've started with the backlog - Gorilla, Mantis, Ripley and Vasquez from sellers on ebay.
I'll next need to order the Queen Facehugger (seems to be more plentiful so less of a priority) and the current wave with Apone, Scorpion and Snake.
They're too good. NECA are putting real effort into them. But ***t. More money gone, now and in the future.
I thought you ordered actual Kenner Aliens. 
Although they were pretty cool. Had a bigger collection of those as a kid than any other toy line.

True, until my last sentence it wasn't clear.
I definitely had more of the original Kenner Aliens line than Predator or Terminator. My big fear if I ordered the Kenner tributes was that I would want every single one across Aliens, Predator and Terminator and there'd be a heck of a backlog to catch up on at high ebay prices. But I might have it in me to stick to only the ones I actually had as a child - which was most of the Aliens line it's fair to say - but not so much of the Predator line. I think I could count on one hand how many of those I had and I could reduce that again because only about 3 of them really stand out to me as memorable.
Meanwhile the Kenner Terminator tributes have only just started apart from that Endoglow Endoskeleton that was a con exclusive some years ago.
So, with this thought process it becomes less daunting.

Oh man, you're going down the rabbit hole! I missed out on Gorilla back when he was released and man am I sorry I did. Official NECA Gorilla Aliens go for quite a bit on ebay (but the knock offs are all over for $20-30). I say get the current wave too before they're gone from retail!
Oooh it's both Alien day and Facehugger Friday tomorrow - we might see something.

Well... that is the "Aliens" warrior, and quite frankly, I didn't think it was that great. Was quite disappointed, actually.
So hopefully, if they do release an "ultimate" Alien figure, they do a better job than that Aliens warrior.

One leg shorter than the other, one leg dramatically warped. Looks about right.
The Ultimate Aliens Warrior sadly was a pathetic release. A return to the worst QC of Aliens past. Though the leg warping has never not been an issue, they seemed to fix the brittle joints for a brief time. Enter the Ultimate Aliens Warrior to take us backwards again.
Right.
