This is what I don't get for a situation like Rolston's - if you walk away, you have zero money. If you take less money than you'd like, you have much more money than zero money. What does he stand to gain? He's going to pass on his only likely role to make money on for licensing? If you don't want dolls of you, fine, it's weird, but I get it, personal preference, but if it's the money you want... How many more times are you planning to be approached and from who else?
Reiser seems like a cool guy. Between stranger things and the boys recently, he seems like he understands "the culture". Ross, Henn, Goldstein, Biehn, even Weaver have always been willing to cash in, seemingly still happy and proud of their time with the film. Even Cameron!

Probably plenty of things i'm not privy to, but the matter is frustrating. No one gets anything out of it because he wants more money or his pride was simply hurt.
I want an Apone thrice as bad as a Drake, but Matthews wasn't into it. I can accept that. I respect and fear that man. Any Nam combat vet gets my reverence.
I want to shake my swear jar at Rolston in anger, however.
