NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

... as always, feeling like an outsider here. Almost no issues at all with any of my NECA figures, only a couple because I want careful as usual and one shelf dive. Painting could be better on human faces, but that's where my "complains" end

I used Pledge floor polish on my Aliens and it worked spectacularly! My Dog Aliens actually can hold a pose now without going limp. Even my Big Chap benefited and can stand on its own. I strongly recommend doing this if your Aliens are loose.

what a loser you are. you cannot even break your figures like everybody does

I never bought any of NECA's Aliens because of all the breaking issues with them.

I've bought and will continue to buy their Marines though.

i had several A1s (old ones), they had limbs glued to the body by paint. the only issue. broke something while trying to make them move. nothing else broke.
same was with A2s, i had several, too.
A3 didn't have that problem - that figure is a lot younger.
that's all my experience with Neca aliens (i don't count predalien because there was nothing to break there due to almost no joints).
at the same time i can say play arts kai (what does that name mean?) aliens - lurker and spitter - have much, much better quality...or stamina? - in the same scale.

This happened to my SDCC exclusive Liquid Metal T-1000. None of his joints move, I couldn't break him if I tried (unlike all the other ones).

I bought 2 or 3 of those Liquid Metal T-1000s for different scenes and a custom I was planning (but never executed). Ended up only opening one of them...and his head broke off.

A recent example for me is the Alien 3 Ripley. I bought 2 and one of them has weird lines on her face that make it look like she's scarred and/or had a skin graft. I noted it, but just said **** it. It's not ideal but I can't be arsed with returning it.

My Ripley has a line on her forehead, but many of them seem to have this issue based on the in-hand photos I've seen. I just assume it's caused by a defect in the mold they used -- just like how all the bald Ripleys seem to have a bump/wart on the left side of her head.

I've not actually opened any up yet, skipped isolation and probably won't buy the Kenner tributes (the originals are enough for me) really lacking in space so all boxed up in the loft, when I do eventually open them (I will) fingers crossed for no breakages

Hope so, she's one I've been waiting for, Dallas, Ripley, Kane (sort of) plus Lambert will be amazing.

I had the same problem with the several series 1 warrior aliens. the lower legs were bending. After warming the legs in water , straightening several times, I had an epiphany ( that or madness) . Short version,took apart legs, drilled a hole from peg hole and put a old shorten drill bit inside of each leg ( after a couple failed attempts with different forms of wire).

I gave an exoskeleton and endoskeleton. anyhow it works.

Damn that is interesting news. Randy hasn't mentioned anything about this yet over on twitter or instagram so maybe he said this and just hopes people forget about it so they don't keep pestering him lol I admit though having a Vickers and Shaw would be awesome. I still hope in some way they bring Vickers back somehow. Maybe she was a droid after all.
