A quick question to the customisers, I'm considering doing an Apone made from Windrix and a Booker T head, does it matter if it's a Jakks or a Mattel booker T head? Do both swap, which is better/easier? Thanks.

It's been a while ago and I think mine was a Jakks figure, I could be wrong but it was a close fit with minor adjusting and good scale wise. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

The good thing about windrix though is he has the USCM patch, the flag and rank insignia. Frost doesn't have any patches on him. But if you did get frost you would have the vp-70 with holster and a flamethrower for Apone. Can't really go wrong either way I guess.

The perfect bash would be the windrix upper arms down to the elbow with the rest of a frost but that would be an expensive bash when you add in the figure for the Apone hs.

Anyone else think the facehugger friday reveals are going to be super lacklustre leading up to the first toy fair of the year ? Keeping the big surprises under wraps as it were ? I mean, showing us the packaging for the blue warrior was fine but I am itching for a wtf omg kind of reveal now.

Yes, some boiling water or blasting the area with a hair dryer and you can pop the arms out at the shoulder and elbow the swap out. I prefer boiling water but either will work to get the plastic soft enough.

To be honest I am surprised about the initial weapons pack postings. Would have thought that would have been kept for an out of left field reveal. Hopefully that means that there is something even bigger lurking in the shadows. Burke, Goreman, Drake, Hadley Hope corridor panels / floor grates, but " Erroring on the side of caution " dont want to get my hopes up that high.

Well, let's put it this way:
Windrix has an ideal set of hands for Apone, but you will have to
1)redo the webbing
2)move multi tool on his belt and add a couple more
3)sculp a holster
4)repaint hands+bits of armor

On top of that you'll need a helmet.

Looking around at some prints and came across a new Aliens print by Brian Taylor. I have his Aliens Queen and Robocop prints and they are excellent. This one would complement a Ripley, Newt, Queen standoff display nicely.

True. Though we still have to see what is going to be in the Alien 3 creature pack and what it looks like in packaging so there is that to look forward to, as well as the weapons pack for Aliens with the two motion machine guns. Other than that the only left of field thing they could do is do a vehicle which Randy has continually said they will not do after the apparent lacklustre reception of the Power Loader.

With a reissue of the Queen coming (again) might be that they are gearing up for an egg sack dio announcement...

Would be perfect timing, and would be that "whoa!" announcement for the fans.
