NECA Alien & Predator Exclusive 2-pack

The QC on these is in the ____ter. At TRU today they had one on the shelf and a case up top. The one on the shelf had broken bone necklaces on the pred, so I asked the guy to get down the case.

In the case here's what I found:

-Alien with the whole center of the body painted silverish instead of black
-Alien with the dome split apart on the back
-Alien with the right arm not attached to the body
-multiple Aliens with the domes covered in white powder
-multiple Predators with broken necklaces
-Predators with the dot patterns on the crown of the head extremely far from centered

yeah the QC is getting exponentially worse instead of better. the one i got was the only one that didn't have a pred with a broken/missing left hand and alien with a split dome. the paint apps are lousy too.

According to Kyle, these puppies were cranked out from the "old factory." Let's hope this is true and that these are the last Predator/Alien figures we'll get from that place. They cannot screw up their 1/4 version -- or the 7" Elder for that matter.

the old china factory may have done these things on purpose, since neca is switching onto another factory, they're mad at neca.

I'm surprised at all that; the ones at my store were never that bad other than a mispainted mouth part here and there or some whitish glue on the tubes of the aliens.

Did you mean at first that they aren't doing Series 3?

paint on the closed mouth pred is a big disaster. NECA plz make sure they won't do the same thing on 19inch preds!!!!!

It's a shame to hear all the paint problems with this predator. All that great work gone into the sculpt ruined by bad paint apps

Mine didn't have bad paint apps, the only problem in mine is the glob of glue under the dome of the alien.

mine had bad paint on both figures, plus a melted looking blade tip on the p1. plus broke strings on the trophey belts, necklace.
these were very very rushed figures without any qc what soever.

I'm thinking of just paying extra and ordering mine from toywiz.com. When i hear there is a problem with a figure line, I go with them. they do hold true that they inspect their items before they ship it. BBTS is a good one too. I have never had problems with them
