That's kind of irritating. She had so many cool designs in the film. Typical NECA though, I'm not a bit surprised.

Joi just seemed like a no brainier. But then again, so does John Connor and when know how that goes. I'd even be down for an 18" version of K. At that scale it would look amazing. Trevor grove has done an awesome job with these sculpts. At the very least I hope we get a bloodied K variant after wave 2.

I'm getting the opposite impression from the reactions in the movie thread. The word masterpiece has been used

Inferior my ***. I love the original and 2049 is far better.

... and that's why they're called "opinions" :)

Honest to God - when I saw this movie, as the end credits came up, a woman says (right as director credit comes up) "What the hell was that?! What a piece of ****! I slept through the last half hour!" NOT kidding.

There was some arguing after that.:lol

I had some problems with the logic of the movie vs BR (and yeah, too long,) but man, couldn't believe how freakin rude some people are.

I'm pretty sure that sleeping through part or most of a film invalidates your opinion of it, whatever it is. A line has to be drawn somewhere, or savagery awaits :lol

I bet she would have been on the edge of her seat if the lead characters had been played by Vin Diesel and the Rock and they had been driving around in souped up street racing cars instead of Spinners.

No joy for Joi:

Joi deserved a figure more than Old Deckard.

I don't know about that, but she still seems like a given. But this is NECA so...I'm not surprised.

For BR fans the new Art book is out on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Art-Soul-Bla...rd_wg=yRFf5&psc=1&refRID=52SAA8Z4XK97CBA4EY5J

There is also Syd Mead's book: https://www.amazon.com/Movie-Art-Sy...8&qid=1508099945&sr=1-4&keywords=blade+runner

I also recommend watching Blade Runner 2022 Anime short before seeing 2049: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrZk9sSgRyQ

Just got my Art & Soul of Blade Runner 2049 book in the mail yesterday...the sheer size and beauty of this book are staggering! I have a nice collection of "art of..." and "making of..." books and this may be the best I have seen...just epic!

The Syd Mead book is very necessary. Great having his film work all in one place (and secondhand copies of his earlier books that contain that work usually cost huge prices, so it's a no brainer really)

What's it like? Not seen a copy yet to have a flick through. Is it a "proper" art book (like some of the earlier Pixar and Dreamworks books, for example, which were just overflowing with stuff), or one of those always disappointing making-of/art-of hybrids that sometimes happen, but never cover either side of things enough (like the Dark Knight Trilogy book)?
