Get both if one can but, if you can't, NECA have ensured that you won't be missing out on too much with their version. Pretty amazing detail and articulation (and I'm sure there's probably more than just what was demonstrated in the video) and the sound features.

All you really needed to say, is that it's a great piece. :huh :lol

NECA's is a no brainer as long as it's quality like their Robos.

I'm passing on Hot Toys ED, not only because of the possibly of a Rubber dome, but the price as well as space issues. I have to much stuff and can't be hoarding anymore. Hot Toys Robocop and the upcoming Murphy is enough for me.

I'd hate to do that to old ED but these big ticket items just aren't feasible anymore. Atleast he'll be represented in some form in my collection.

Surely HT won't have a rubber dome again, surely.

The dome on my old ED is finally starting to deteriorate like other people's. Still nowhere near as bad as the worst example I ever saw but its clearly on its way out. That was my very first Hot Toys item back in 2007 or something.

Any pics of the damage in question ?

Even if the Hot Toys and NECA versions were the same price, I'd STILL choose the NECA version.

I'm not saying that to be a contrarian d ick either...I truly prefer a more compact scale. The big one will just take up too much space, but the 10 inch one is big enough to have a serious presence on the shelf but small enough to not need half a room to display.

I live in a small apartment...space is at a premium!
