I ended up buying the series 2 boxed set. Didn't really want another Marcus but it was only $2 more than buying the figures individually. I also ordered the Theron Guard (without mask) and an original Locust Drone since I'm displyaing the one I currently have with the rebreather mask.

Was able to buy Dom, Baird and 1 Theron Guard today at work. $13.99 each, better then the 16.99 i saw them for at the mall

That is a very good price. Hastings (in Tx) wanted $15.99 so I got the Variant Theron guard only

Since I finished off my COG set for now (if they release the new guys and a few of the olders), I went ahead and tried my luck here.

would look better if I had my actual Digi cam, but my video cam does alright with pictures.

wouldnt do the badguy one until I get the last one from series 2. I could buy more locust though, but my Gears figures share a shelf with my Halo figures so space is limited.

There is a regular Carmine (possibly) coming in Wave 3....so open at your own peril until that is confirmed!

maybe its gonna be like Marcus and have more articulation or something, I dont know just hope it is easy to tell the difference the exclusive and new one. So for now keep your in package until pictures and such are released for the new one.

No, they aren't rolling out Gears 2 figures until Spring 09.

I read an interview with Randy over at Epics forum - he indicated they are doing a Raam and Kim 2 pack - any word on that?



Series 3 will have a generic 'Redshirt' Cog - I believe, not Carmine or his bro - from what I can tell - if series 3 has the Theron Guard - with different head gear, I will be happy with that.

AND he wants to get to a Boomer fig - hopefully in 2009
