I just got the box set from ebay that has the helmeted Locust variant - very cool over, and I am now a GOW completist!

yeah they did the last time i checked, but i just ordered koto bly and medi jango so Im holding off on buying some things till i get a little more cash. I did see the helmeted locust for series 2 today, but gonna wait to get it cheaper at TRU.

Picked up the gears box set at TRU, the 4 main gears plus a good set of weapons for $45, seems like a good deal to me.

I really wanted the newer marcus with added articulation because the lack of arm articulation in the first one dissapointed me on the whole line and he was the only one i'd grabbed. Seeing they'd done better with dom and the new marcus this box set was a good chance to get both plus baird and cole and the weapons. If you haven't seen it, its the 4 gears, plus 4 lancers, 2 pistols, shotgun, sniper rifle, torquebow, hammer of dawn, and hammer shot.

Awesome stuff, i like them all cept cole whos still as lame as he was when he first came out, crap articulation and undersized but ah well he's decent enough to stand there with the others.

the new marcus actually looks pretty good with the new articulation. I was just wondering, are the cog tags that come with the headshot locust the same as these ones?

I would not mind if future variants of these locusts had additional articulation in the arms. Great fig overall, but the right arm is a one-pose wonder...

hey cheeseman, how are those tags, are the actual metal or plastic? And what about the chain for them as well. I was thinking of ordering the figure cause 1 it looks pretty neat, and 2 I want the tags....even though I have some of those promo tags pictured before, but I want a set to hang on my gears shelf.
