Neca dropped the ball on the Boomers, for sure. It definitely takes the heat off the line for me at the moment, cause I now know nothing will be to scale, when it needs to be.

I love my boomer.

Seeing how much plastic he is made of, I rather have him too short than not exist at all. I doubt they could have gotten the retail support for a box figure of a boomer.

But then I only pick up the locust figures, no humans.

Yeah im the same way, I only want locusts...could care less for the humans. Thats why Im even more dissappointed that they didnt scale him correctly. That makes me wonder if there going to do a bloodmount. Also why did they choose to do tickers over wretches.

I remember emailing NECA asking them if they were going to make a 12" locust figure to go with the 12" marcus...never got a response.

I like how they make RAAM and the Boomer look bigger on the poster when they're both actually smaller.

I have to say while I understand what hes saying about price point and all, but do they realize who is buying there figure "collections". As a collector I would easily pay for a bigger boomer or Ramm or any other figure to be scaled a little more acurately. Most likely any other collector would do the same if they really want the figure.

I mean seeing that Grinder with the "top hat" just blows my mind. I was telling a friend just the other day about if they did a grinder I hope he has his awesome "top hat" helmet.

I'll also say it again if there worried about price point, why did they make a 12" marcus and not a 12" locust. Id easily buy whatever locust
they put out there.

I say if people are willing to spend the cash of a normal figure on a ticker, there would be no problems getting them to pay more for a larger to scale Raam and others.

well despite my dislike of the Boomers height issue, i found myself at TRU buying this figure. He is short, but to alleviate this i just put him in the back and stood him on a little platform i had, to make him look taller. here are a some quick pics of him as well as the rest of my GOW collection.

Looking forward to the Skorge figure, looks badass! I was just wondering, somebody who collects COG soldiers can probably answer this, does the shotgun reload properly like in the game where the whole handle guard comes down or not?

As far as the 12 inch figures go, I actually wish they'd have made a 12inch Dom to go with Marcus. Especially instead of a light up version 2 Marcus.

A Dom would have looked so sweet standing up there side by side.

Alright finally moved some things around so I can get up all my gears figs. I got some extra swag, but that is off someplace else, as well as my MIB Exclusive Carmine, Headshot Locust and Lambent Locust. Those boxed figs are hanging on the wall.
