I'd have made the snap jaw function but kept the jaw in scale and maybe less pieces for the game.

Let's be real, most people buying this will want a nice Bruce on their shelf, not a game to play.

If I wanted the game , I'd save 70 bucks and buy the original.

They did this to get around a license.

That's actually correct that's why....

They showed a to-scale Bruce a couple years ago when the first 8" figures were coming out. It was supposed be styrofoam like their 1:1 figures. Guessing they decided against it as cost-prohibitive in the currect climate

I genuinely think they gave a full body, proportional shark a fair shot, I mean they went so far as to sculpt it, so they were certainly interested, but somewhere along the way, reasons came about where it wouldn't work out, so they pivoted to this.

Given how quickly it will be coming out, this game version must have been in the works for quite some time because usually we get reveals then there's like 8 months before shipping.

I am getting this just to tie me over until I can sell enough of my hair and bodily fluids to save up to buy a Bruce shark from Shark City Ozark.
