so I would've skipped it anyway.

There ya go...

This doesn't apply to you, but there is a difference between wanting to see something made AND willing to pay for it.

A breaching Bruce with a water splash base would probably be NECA's best bet.

I would have loved that. Sadly, the oft-overly sculpted "splashes" never look too real.

Personally I would only have even considered - and not even definitely purchased - a proper scale Bruce. An underscaled one I see no point in owning. It's iffy enough just buying Quint and Hooper while knowing that Brody is probably never coming but I will at least do that. Have one of each preordered at BBTS and might preorder one of each from the UK aswell.

I would have joined the conversation earlier if this was a proper shark, but I have no interest in this game version.

If the game at least looked like fun, I might have considered to get it to play with my daughter. But it doesn't look particularly fun either.

But I agree that a 30 inch shark would probably cost a few hundred bucks nowadays, which will limit their market severely. I satisfied my itch with the SCO bust, so I would've skipped it anyway.

A breaching Bruce with a water splash base would probably be NECA's best bet. A mix between the old McFarlane version and the SCO bust. That should be feasible at around $100.

And minus a base, it’s what they did for the Toony Terror set.

Yeah I think I was never in the market for such a big shark. If I were to allocate that much display space to one piece, I would rather have the HT Dewback.
