Michael is no longer on the November calendar for shipping from NECA, probably December, maybe in time for digital release, or January for Blu Ray.

It was confirmed awhile back that it would be released in December….

This is looking really nice. Makes me wish that if they cannot get Halloween 1978, that they could get Halloween 2 and give us Myers, Loomis and Laurie from that film. both are Universal license from what I see.

Someone asked Randy about H2 not too long ago and his reply was basically "We can't". To my knowledge no one has ever done 7 inch figures for H2?

I'm just grateful we're getting Myers at all. A 1/4 version is likely next year too from what has been said.

Yeah they can't do any classics. What's interesting is when someone asked about an ultimate RZ H1. He replied no plans for it. Instead of saying don't have the licence. Then again a couple days ago and replied. Focusing on the 2018 movie.

It would make sense that they would be focusing on the '18 license.

Does anyone else notice the different hairlines on the two masks in that latest packaged shot?

From what I’ve read, they had filmed an alternative perspective of the original film’s ending for the opening of this film. There might be a legal loophole there to make figures from the original film under the license for the new film. Not sure what deleted scenes fall under. If that shows up on the blu Ray, that might give them the chance to make the figures. :dunno

It was never filmed. It was gonna be filmed but John convinced the director not to

Yes, this is true. It was definitely a missed opportunity. By re-filming that ending, they could've released figures of Loomis, Laurie and The Shape from the newly re-filmed 1978 flashback.

Doubt Loomis, you probably wouldn’t have seen his face. The scene was scrapped during budget talks, it would have cost too much and Carpenter was a voice of reason.

I could almost see a classic as some sort of Con Exclusive if the opened the doors for an agreement NECA could get behind.

No Loomis was in there as well. In one interview they said they had the perfect Loomis look a like. If you notice torwards the end where Laurie goes off the balcony is an exact replica of the doyle house room where the h1 scene took place.

Yeah, they’d already built a lot, Green decided it would work as a closet in Laurie’s house, that her experience in the Doyle’s closet scarred her so much she’d replicate it in her home.

The movie is full of subtle touches.

I can't wait. Both the "original" Myers and new Myers Nick Castle and James Courtney are both going to be at a convention next year. Can't wait to get some stuff signed. I love getting the Ultimate figures signed since you can keep them closed to preserve the auto or open and display in a unique way.
