The Alien should also have a few updates. I think it was a new jaw and paint-apps for the skull/dome.

Do NECA really have any sway in how these things end up being painted by the factories that a few changes to the original Alien's paint scheme at their end will make any positive difference whatsoever on the final product? The gist I get is that even Tankman can never seem to tell with any confidence that the paint isn't going to be totally screwed.

Cool, I'll probably try and get it, knowing NECA, I'm sure that P1 will be made available, just to cash in on reuse of the molds, but incase it's not, I want to have all the P1 variations from NECA.

It's actually unmasked closed-mouth P1 (don't worry :)) along with the Giger Alien (which is getting an updated headsculpt).

ha! i have that exact fake log thing in the background. my tarantula lives in it. also, that Hellraiser Julia figure is a nice touch. now NECA has no excuse to not include some skinned bodies in a boxed set.

I had one of those logs in my old cichlid tank too. You can get some cool display accessories at the pet shop!

I really dig those pics zerogoui! Shows that the figures can look great with the stock paint jobs. And like prefused said, that Julia works perfect in your display there :rock

yeah I have the fake log also, lol just never used it for toys, but thats a great idea. Hes always got great backgrounds in his shots.

I just don't understand what the holdup is though.

They usually get stuff alot quicker than this.
