that was my guess. and that works for me since that's when the boxed set is coming out (supposedly) so i can just get everything at once.

This warranted my first post in these boards, but... it's the first time I've heard of this alleged "Boxed set". What is it and when is it coming out?

I've not heard mention of the releases of the dogs either, so if this is him with tracker...

nope. the boxed set is the Alien vs Predator 2-pack. the predator is unmasked and has closed mandibles and the alien is the exact same figure that came out last year. they come with alien and predator skulls and are set to come out around xmas.

the dog comes out next year in Series 3.

If that's the only way I'll be able to get the closed mandibled Jungle Pred, I might as well get it when it's released.

Well... my folks are driving past a TRU later tonight to check some furniture. I'm gonna give it a call in case they've got any new Preds.

Went to TRU and picked up the Tracker and unmasked Beserker. No sign of the BD Predator 1. Went home and unfortunately the Tracker's right arm snapped off at the elbow joint! I barely even touched it

Sadly with these I have to resort to Play.com I keep getting emails telling me they've been delayed to come into stock THREE times now, latest one I got was yesterday stating 26th November.

He looks great, did you have an issue with broken tusks? I've seen on other forums of some people having issues with them being broken.

Sadly with these I have to resort to Play.com I keep getting emails telling me they've been delayed to come into stock THREE times now, latest one I got was yesterday stating 26th November.

The same thing happened with Series 1 on Play.com, they changed the dates 4 times and eventually got them in stock quite a while after I'd seen them appearing on Ebay over here and in some Forbidden Planet stores.

I ended up with Play.com for the first series too I can remember that, I don't live near a Forbidden Planet and Ebay is a rip off now for stuff sadly

He looks great, did you have an issue with broken tusks? I've seen on other forums of some people having issues with them being broken.

It would probably depend on the hardness of the pvc that is used; if it's too hard it will break, but if it is too soft they can bend and deform in the package. I'm surprised I haven't seen more pictures of trackers with bent/fractured tusks!

I did see a few fractured tusks cases. Mine abit bent initially, but it's adjustable but must carefully. My advise is must check the tusks before payment.
