I can't wait for this year's SDCC exclusive! It's gonna be the Gort mask on the P1 body (with P1 dreads) with a bloody skull/spine trophy!

I wonder if they are gonna sculpt a new P1-style "gripping" hand to hold the trophy, or just elasti-band it to an open hand...

If NECA produces these Preds in 1/4 (at least P1, P2, and Elder) and does them well, my HT stuff is going in the closet. And, possibly, on sale. Not all of it, but my P2 will definitely be useless if a 1/4 is made with ball-jointed hips and double jointed-knees. I mean, come on. What more could you want?

@Macularious, the Figures are made of PVC.

And this have nothing with the petroleum prices.

Seneca just want to save money only to make more profit.
You can see clearly across this development for years.

Neca said the accessories in 7 figures "for the buyer is not so important.
There are also fewer sets.

Look...you haven't been right about ANYTHING you've ever posted in relation to action figures.

Why you're still trying to convince people you know what you're talking about...when you clearly don't...is beyond me.

Neca is stepping up their game big time. That P2 looks amazing, but the scale and look of the disc is pretty bad. Hopefully they'll fix it up. Damn awesome figure though.

so, your argument is either plastic is not made from/with/using petroleum or the price of petroleum is not higher. and that the price of a commodity does not effect the price of manufactured goods.

ok.

and your problem with NECA here is that they are a company that relies on profit to make their products. and you think they should make less profit and more products.

i honestly don't know what to tell you.

There's no point in arguing with him, he has absolutely NO idea what he's talking about and no concept of how things work.

And just so he knows...YES, pvc plastic IS made with petroleum. :slap

What's the story on this Guardian head/bio?

Twofold...

It's going to be part of the SDCC exclusive...this bio on a regular P1 body with a bloody spine accessory.

Then, it's going on its regular P2 body for the release as part of the Lost Hunter Preds.

The SDCC exclusive this year will be that mask on a P1 body (with the P1-style dreads) to be how the Predator's mask was originally going to be in P1 before they changed it to the regular one. He will come with a trophy skull/spine as well.

the mask will be re-released in the P2 waves as the Gaurdian/Gort Pred with a P2-style body, P2-style dreads and all of the other details from P2.

Edit: Darn it! beaten! :D

Is that P2 a future 7'' release just currently made at a bigger scale, or is that a 12'' figure?? I'm confused. Sorry I'm really unfamiliar with NECA predators. First Neca Pred will be the 1/4 Predator 1...but wow I'm on board with that Predator 2....hopefully it ends up as 1/4 scale...my dream would be 1/4 scale P1, P2, Scar, Wolf to go with my HT set of 4...

It's a 2UP prototype, probably about 1/6 scale. They sculpt them that large and then resize them. It'll be shrunk down to the 7" scale.

But yes, hopefully it'll wind up as their 18" scale as well...

The prices have not increased dramatically, it should have been more expensive products by other manufacturers.

I think this is not the influence is so great.
At least it is not it.

My problem with the Neca us some figures withheld because they think they know is what we want.
They do not.

E.g. the Alien Queen or Dutch.

And my problem is that one makes no sets and no more accessories.
What used to be different.
E.g. the Cult Classics series.

Furthermore, the quality control is not good.
