I'm seriously considering buying that Lava planet Pred and the Hive wars one, I have both the originals from Kenner and it'd be so cool to have them standing next to each other.

I actually really like the lava pred. The mix between the red plastic and the painted patches is amazing IMO.

The ten year anniversary of AvP is next year. I've been assuming that the figures release would coincide.

Hopefully but I'll be surprised. Seems like every company comes in too late during the milestones or misses the opportunity completely.

Has there been any hints or images for the AvP line? I seriously cannot wait for NECA to release them. I've stayed away from those skinny McFarland(?) Toy lines. Too me they look terrible with bad Detailing and skinny sculpts design.

Any word on a cracked tusk Pred? I remember getting him as a kid because he was the closest looking one to a Jungle Hunter I could ever find and would love an updated version of him.

You can guarantee there will be Cracked Tusked figure as it would only be a repaint of the Lava Planet fig.

Since the AvP waves are getting pushed back to series 14 and 15, I'd imagine the updated Wolf Pred will get pushed back too. On twitter they said that they have planned up to series 15.

It looks like the following are planned and will be released by NECA:

-Series 12: Elder 2.0, and according to twitter :"2 new characters never offered before heading your way in S12"

-Series 13: Most likely another wave of Kenner tribute figs

-Series 14: AvP Preds wave 1

-Series 15: AvP Preds wave 2

That still leaves Wolf, and tons of comic/videogame Preds they can still make.
