The deal with the "Yautja" crap is, that's what they're called in the AvP books. They speak a stupid langauge, their females are bigger, and shoot milk from their tites, they have sex with each other, and follow a strict honor system like a Klingon.

The Hish is another go at the Predator species, which they are (i think) asexual, and they can change sexes whenever they wish to. They're also more like hunters. Kill whoever, and dont give a flying ____ about honor and all that crap, so way more like the films, then the Yautja.

You really think so? I dunno, I mean I know Requiem kinda made a mess of the predalien and was too dark and everything, but neither one did any favors for the characters really and I just figured at least the Pred didnt do a slow mo Baywatch run in Requiem so I consider it the lesser of 2 evils...

Requiem felt too slasher for me. The Predator was dumber then the last one, and they ruined the Aliens forever. Or until Scott makes his movie.

I mean c'mon....atleast AvP looked like a real movie. And atleast the fights were somewhat fair. Sure, they killed 2 predators in less then 5 minutes. But Scar racked up a heavy body count, and Celtic held his own for a bit.

Requiem? It was like one tough guy, beating up a room full of mentally challanged kids.

I do Like Wolf though I thought he was pretty cool...TBH I just don't look at either one as canon, makes them more bearable

Loved Wolf. Loved Chet. Hated the movie. Horrible acting all across the board except for Ian White. I mean terrible! The actors were a bit more believable in AVP. And it was more fun watching them running around an ever changing temple than some small town. And it was nice to be able to actually see the action in AVP. Both movies had their own ups and downs. But AVP does out weight AVPR for me just a tad bit.

No! And also they are coming to Earth for Hunt in the hottest years and not just every 10 years. It was well esthabilized in Predator 1.

keep hoping. history says it's not gonna happen. we'll be lucky if there's a 18" version.
i'm just hoping the unmasked figures don't have that horrible seam like the wolf.

Bot AvP suck sadly donkey balls so I don't care anymore. There was time when I was very angry because of those movies (I wanted them become great). I hope Predators will be good but we will see. I disappointed too many times. AvP movies, T3 and TS and the crappy Terminator TV show. If Predators will be great I will buy the figures from HT and maybe Neca. Otherwise I won't.
