While I don't see them copying McF by including an Alien Egg base...if they did...I hope they correct the scale of the eggs.

nah. they just announced it and showed the P1 proto.
it's not gonna be out til xmas anyway, so don't get excited yet.

If they're using an "ALIEN" Alien, then the eggs need to be the right scale.

That is one thing I couldn't stand about McFarlane's stuff at the time. Every egg was too damn small.

Just saw that TRU finally got wave 1 on their site for preorder, it says they ship 8/20. That seems a bit odd to me. I really don't get what's up with this delay, especially since NECA is under the impression that there really isn't any reason why they aren't on shelves yet.

TRU DOES have the Wave 1 figures. At least, the ones I've talked to do. Now when did they say the PO goes up for the two-pack? Or is it more of a release date? I'm questioning whether or not to skip Classic and just go for the two-pack version, since it'll mean getting my P1 sooner.

Blade, if you're just going to sell everything when you get something new, you might as well stop collecting....whats the point if you sell everything?

But that's not what I do. I was going to sell my current NECA 1979 Alien, since there'd be no point in having two (if I sprang for the two-pack). I only sell copies of what I have, just like I sold my masked Wolf since I only needed my unmasked version which looks way cooler.

With NECA, I don't buy every figure they put out. I either buy my favorite variant of each character, or I buy all of them and sell off the ones I don't need. In the end, I still have one of every character.
