Quick observations on the Deacon figure:

Just the "dislikes" for now...

- The neck joint...UGLY AS FOOK!
- No shoulder rotation...NOT COOL NECA!
- Not quite the right scale...it's as tall as the human figs, but was only about 4 feet tall in the movie.
- The jaw really only looks good when fully open and extended...otherwise he looks pretty "dorky".

got my deacon today, it's cool for what it is.it's looking nice with my alien collection.i reaLLY like this figure, maybe we will see him all grown up in the next movie, and in figure form from Mcneca in the near future.

I would love to see the evolution of the Deacon in the sequel. Too bad they left him on LV223 or did they? Hmm..

Ever since I saw the Shaw figure I always thought something was off with the costume. Well I watched Prometheus again tonight and the suits with the orange piping has a kevlar type pattern. Is there a reason NECA couldn't reproduce that look? Instead they went with a sparkley type metallic finish.

No, actually the Shaw figure is wearing the end suit. It should have the kevlar type pattern but the figure lacks it.

The NECA Shaw figure does have the orange piping on her suit. So I think it is the "end suit". Maybe the Kevlar type pattern was hard to recreate on this scale?
