This is great news, but whats the point in re-releasing figures in different packaging? I think all new releases is the best way to go.

Make more money off work already done to fund new stuff. It's like the slight variants NECA does, they do these sort of things to cash in on people who missed out the first time and make money with no new work really.

Might not be for the better, if the skin is as tanslucent as the Rambos the faces will look like crap compared to the old figures.

Anyone know if Neca is still going to relaunch the Rocky line or was it cancelled?

Still happening this year. Probably on display at Toyfair.

I was selective with these figures and only purchased the BD Clubber, Drago & Creed. And only purchased gold trunk Rocky. Also TBH was not a big fan of the clear plastic mold phase from NECA. You can see in the Lost Predators 2 line up, I think the last wave was the clear plastic and it looks like crap IMO

Looking forward to street cloth Rocky perhaps!!

Yes...well, it might be a repaint, but yes it's a new Neca Rocky from the new Rocky line. They'll be showing the new figures at toyfair.

would love to see them do a Tyson. more rocky is good news maybe creeds son from new movie? i have the rocky VS apollo 2 pack and love it lots, lots of fun to pose them together.

Thanks the heads up, this is great news, I just wish Neca would do a couple of Rocky figs in 1/6 or 1/4 like they did with the recent Batman 66 and Devito Penguin.

They are re-releasing the older figures and making some new ones.

Yes they are releasing them all with new ones as many missed out on the previous release.

They will be packaged as the 40th anniversary or something like that.

They will not do anything from the creed films as they said they are only doing 1-4.

So basically apart from the toys r us twin pack, there were 11 figures in total previously. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Series 1 - 1st movie. 4 figures.
Series 2 - 4th movie. 4 figures.
Series 3 - 3rd movie. 3 figures.

So looks like they should at least complete the remaining 3rd series and fill the 2nd movie slot with new figures.

I wonder are they doing straight rerelease a with the others or add something new to them. I don't want to buy everything twice.

Great news. Never bought them the first time because I wasn't interested but I think I am now. Creed made me marathon all the previous films, some of which I had never seen, and I found them all to be much more engaging than I ever gave them credit for.

They said on twitter that there will be 16 figures in total, so that means they are re-releasing all the old ones, and there are about 3 or 4 new figures. According to NECA, the Rocky 3 with the belt from the poster is a new figure.
