Conshohocken, PA...by Philly. I don't think I'll wait for the new style of doors and just bite the bullet with the square ones.

We are going to get a new house in the Spring/Summer time and I'll have to start hunting for these as well. I'm in Missouri so the 4 hr drive to Chicago won't be too terrible.

I like the square doors as well, I'm thinking with the Besta lying flat on the floor it would make it much more easier to install the glass doors and keep them straight. Once everything is in place then raise the Besta upright.

You should come down to the Houston location so I can kick your a$$. :monkey5

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:lol U can try but once I arrive... I dunno :dunno :monkey1

That's what I did and it still didn't help. Looks good enough unless you whip out a ruler.

So I've been slowly building my Besta all of this week. Have the cabinet assembled and the lights put in. Just installed the first door. I can start to see how people have had a hard time adjusting these. Any tricks?

Also, how in the hell do you get those door handles on? I think I've run out of elbow grease...

Are the lights very difficult to install? Have you turned them on to see how they look?

Lights were easy. There were two different ways you could attach them: brackets you could screw in or 3M-like adhesive strips. I went with the adhesive. I drilled 4 holes in the back of the Besta with the biggest drill bit I could find, then used a triangular file to make the holes square-shaped. The wires for the Dioder lights fit right through.

All of this took very little skill on my part (which is good because I'm not much of a handyman). :lol

They look pretty sharp. I don't have any of my collectibles in there yet, but I imagine it will look pretty nice when it's all completed.

That's good to hear. I'm looking forward to when I'll have enough money to get the glass doors and the lights.

I also learned a very valuable lesson at Ikea tonight. D not go alone and wear tennis shoes. I went after work and had on my dress shoes. I nearly busted my ass trying to control those cart things without good traction.

Oh crap, I forgot how difficult those were to put those on. I got 4 out of the 6 up and gave up on the last 2 for a couple weeks. Finally got them on, but only after many, many cuss words.

I was finally able to get the handles on. I heated up some water then submerged the handles for a minute. Even then I had to hit it with the rubberized grip of a hammer, but it went on eventually.
