Supports my point even more. The next "big" event to announce Vader is SDCC in July. No business is going to sit on a cash cow product like this for that long just to make a big entrance with it. Plus, if they announce this now, it'll be higher-profile because nothing else is really going on. Plus, I imagine there will be a lot of pre-orders as Christmas gifts (think the old Kenner Early Bird event from '77).

Seriously ask yourself if Sideshow needs an event like SDCC to promote the most awesome 1:6 Vader ever made?

But you're assuming that they actually have Vader more or less ready to go. I don't think we know that for sure.

Well, we know that there is a 12" figure from ANH coming, and combined with these clues, Vader does seem likely. I am interested in the issue of price, though.

I think he will be $85 dollars. Plus we will get a Mouse Droid and Interigation Droid Expansion pack. Now that would be awesome.

I'm really hoping for Vader. I'm also 99.9% sure it is going to be him since I just broke down and bought the medicom vader a few weeks ago. Lately I seem to be paying more for collectibles than I need to.

I'm all for excitement, but I think we need to stay calm on the Vader front, going to be a lot of dissappointment if it isn't him in 1/6.

If it is him, since the word was an OT figure, not ANH specific, I want ROTJ with full Anakin reveal.

I can't imagine him as a 1/6 figure, but I could see this same description, except for the space talk, being about Sauron in the LOTR series, and maybe the space clue isn't even a clue about the piece.

If its not Vader it is not a SW related clue and we are totally off the mark.

Per the crash 'n' burn if it isn't Vader, soaring skywards on the wings of anticipation is worth falling to the earth.

If it's ANH Vader I hope it looks just as good or better than the unreleased Marmit. And the helmet looks like it's supposed to, not like the PF which looks like non of them.
