I'd rather wait till they have a new body for Vader and the troopers.

Think about this. HT is/will help with the design of the body. The 'hobbit' body is modular so you can change the height for the smaller characters. Like taller for a dwarf.

HT bodies already have something like this. The arms can pop off at the elbow and the legs at the knee. Don't know whether they actually use this to advantage or not.

It'll work better than the Big Boy body.

Think also making female's shorter or taller depending on the character. If they make a new female body.

I hope this is what they have in mind for new bodies.

Judging by the statement, I would think it's either AOTC Anakin or Darth Vader.

Why?;
1. 'Revenge will lead you to darkness'; which is exactly what happened when Anakin slew the Sand People tribe. 'Military action may follow'; the first battle of the Clone Wars started soon after, and, obviously, was a military action.

2. 'Revenge will lead you to darkness', which was how Vader first came to be.
'Military action may follow'; could mean either:
a. When he started to hunt down the remaining Jedi(ROTS)
b. The battle of Yavin commences(ANH)
c. The battle of Hoth commences(ESB)
d. The battle of Endor commences(ROTJ)

All of which were 'military actions'.

So I'm leaning towards either one.

Great interpretation of the clues.

However if you go back to the first post of this thread it claims that the figure will be from the first trilogy and be "Awesome" (If that is to be believed).

That coupled with your clues can only mean Vader.

I also think that having both Vader and Obiwan for the 30th anniversary (well, at least announced or preordered during the 30th anniversary year) would be fitting.

If it's AOTC Anakin, I'd be slightly dissappointed because with Illum Padme coming and ANH Ben out, I don't think we'll likely see an AOTC Padme or Obi-Wan and Ani would end up like ESB Han with no companion pieces to go with it. I like having at least one other figure that can counterpoint a release. Even ROTJ Luke was a loner until Jabba came along.

It looks to be an original trilogy figure but if by some chance it was AOTC Anakin, I'm willing to bet that there will be a run on the ROTS Obi-Wan figure and mullet-shaping Sculpy...

Greys Anatomy is a good show and its actually my gf who forced me to start watching it and now Im hooked. I just dont want anymore Thursday night surprises like that. When I got back on the net about 10:40 I bought went crazy trying to get on the waitlist. Who knows their might be a bunch of card declines.

But anyway I hope the Star Wars announcement is worth getting all hyped up over.

That could either be Chewie or Leia, but I think it this clue is for Han Solo because he wasn't the biggest fan of Ewoks, not like the other 2.

I am hoping that this "awesome" surprise is Darth Vader but I do not want him to have any of the Sideshow bodies. I am not the biggest fan of SSC current bodies, I mean they do serve their purpose, but what about the body Hot Toys has developed for the 1/6 Briareos from Appleseed. I would say a smaller version of that would really do Vader justice.

I want a Vader but some things have to change for SSC to do him justice.

What if it was ROTJ Emperor with the throne as an expansion? Would that be too much with the ROTS Palpatine already just done?
