If it's Cop Joker with an extra head and purple coat with grenades, as long as it's TF price or higher, that's fine comparing those two. I'd say a package like that and Two-Face would be about equal.
If it includes full purple costume garments, even if not another TT body, and a second head and comes in at TF price, yeah I'll feel ripped off about TF.

It's definitely not the greatest sculpt ever, from that one picture at least. On first sight it's got the heaviness, the overly big features of the V.1. Given the hype I would expect perfection, especially as this is what we've had with the BR extra head, the forthcoming Dutch sculpt, etc.
As for the new DX branding, I'm basically against certain figures becoming open only to collectors who are rich. I can take it with Enterbay Lee, as an exception, and so far I've been able to get everything I really want by narrowing down my choices to the best of the best of figure releases; in fact, it's improved my collection because I've pruned it, and I've done stuff like sell extra heads I didn't like or didn't have a use for. But a whole new breed of figures that I would feel stupid buying, because they're so expensive, yet which seem essential, might make me reconsider whether I want to continue buying stuff or just withdraw for a few years and enjoy what I've got.

So does anyone reckon HT would fix that? Have they changed errors on proto figs in the past, besides sculpt tweaks?
Anyone else notice it currently says 'POLICE' on the hat-badge on the figure, whereas it should actually say 'GCPD'?

Exactly. I got into the 1/6 hobby about 6 months ago now, knowing $150 was a price I was going to pay for the absolute best 1/6 figures in the hobby. Now they are going to be $250 or more? I would have stuck with 1:1 props or Premium Formats for that price.

Possibly, but without knowing for sure, they may be trying to get future use out of some of the cop parts and the generic police would allow them to do that, if that emblem's a common police one minus the GCPD part.

Well that's assuming they mean literal month, they tend to do the newsletter once a month unless something special comes up, so it could mean the month period to the next newsletter. If it's within a week or so great, but I'm not getting excited just yet.

I feel ya, I think the sculpt (based on the pix) requires tweaking but I am all for the third installment. The price point isn't a big issue for me.....
