Interesting... didn't think about the Joker in the background having anything to do with the new release. I guess bomb jacket is a likely addition to the figure.

Seriously now, the joker was never meant to look like heath ledger.

How do you figure that!? The make up consists of three latex pieces (brow and the cheek scars) + clown paint. None of which changes the guys facial features to the point of looking dramatically unlike himself. And in the Cop disguise you can REALLY see how minimal the FX is. Because it's clearly Heath Ledger with some scarred cheeks. So not sure what you're talking about tbh.

I'm in! I hope it comes with a full outfit so v.1 can become Interrogation Joker (w/ BRJ sculpt) and the new suit and sculpt can be put on a TT for the mob look.

If the grenade rigging is there, I do hope it's not permanent or doesn't make the figure look goofy wearing the coat with them attached.

Don't worry, knowing HT it'll be held on with a big ass piece of Velcro that won't work over time.

This is to me is like iphone releasing a 8GB version for $500, and 6 months later, a 16GB version for $399.

But I'm a sucker for HT. I'm still buying this joker, and the next one. And so on, so whatever. I hope they just throw in the sculpt and ONLY the purple coat; no tie, patterned shirt, vest etc. At least then, I don't feel I'm being ^^^^ed twice. My 2 c.

True. But honestly when I watched the dark knight, I could not see heath ledger in the joker. For the 89 batman, I can always see that the joker was always Jack Nicholson impersonating Cesar Romera. In regards to the this cop joker, the sculpt in my eyes is accurate.

I dunno, I like it. I can see how the sculpt could be improved upon, but it's still pretty dang good. As for the whole MMS DX thing, I can appreciate the improvements on the v1 coat and a new head sculpt. The thing I'm concerned about here is the price. If they charge a significantly higher price then I'll be upset because BRJ came with 2 head sculpts and a ton of accessories for the same price as the rest of the MMS figures. Hopefully it's MMS DX in name only, unless there's such a significant amount of extras that it warrants a price bump.

So is everyone assuming this is a two figure set -- cop Joker as well as mob scene Joker?

2 figures, 2 heads, 2 full outfits?

Just curious if maybe it's just the grenade rig that you can put on the current Joker you own rather than a whole new figure.

The background Joker sculpt looks to be the same as the v2 to me. Of course, that is a new hand sculpt though.

Sounds like great news, if a new purpler coat/mob meeting joker DX comes out. I'll just buy the parts on ebay to make the V1 that much better.

just came across this guys. i kinda like it, i do feel abit down like some of u as ive just purchased the V1 joker frm the states, it arrived today. but IF this new cop jokr comes WITH the new purple jacket etc then it could be a good thing for the v1 jokers, i mean i bought sebs (elvis1976) repainted br head to put on the ht v1 body, so it the new jacket comes with cop joker, then i could get the cop joker and jst swap the purple jackets, put the br head and new jacket on the v1 fig.

i dont own the br joker however so dont knw whether to try get that for a decent price or get the cj instead.

I saw the Joker before he shoots Gordon in the funeral scene...it's in a wide shot, you can just make out Heath standing there. I don't get it though - how didn't all the other guards notice him? I suppose it's just one of those 'movie cheats'.

Because all the other guards were the Jokers men. All the real guardsmen were tied up in the room Bruce goes into. Remember the guy they actually manage to catch and Harvey interrogates him in the back alley?

Perhaps not 100% Ledger in that pic, but I am LOVING everything about this. Cannot wait for more details!!

The coat in the background def looks like a more suede-like material.

Has anyone compared that purple material from the evidence pack with the v1 coat? Is it really different? Lighter?

this figure looks cool, but it's totally frivolous.
he was on screen for like 2 seconds and there are already 2 Joker figures in this line.
i'd rather have Alfred, or Scarecrow.
