His jacket is blue, not gray!

I always thought it was the lighting of the scene, but I have to say, it is indeed blue, perhaps this new Cop figure will include a new jacket too.

You guys are just figuring that out? I could have told you before the film came out. Its really the only scene that clearly shows the jacket underneath. Never understood why everyone made theirs grey. At least I was able to help Les get his jacket color right

Before that shot, most of the others never gave a clear glimpse because he was shot from the side facing the inner jacket, so what little you could see, I always thought it was tinting of the scene, not the actual coat.

But HT linked this to that mysterious piece of purple cloth that shipped out to a few people... and they made deliberate mention of same. Purple cloth? Joker posed in background with new hand? It all seems to connect.

And really, what point is that Joker, in that pose, in the background of the Cop promo if not tied to soemthing coming with the new figure. Unless it's a tease of goodies to be included, it does absolutely nothing for the composition, it's pointless being there.

HT's cockteasing us with all these images, I just hope the grand unveiling is worth it and doesn't leave a lot of us with blue balls.

For an 'MMS DX' product, I'm not that impressed. No matter how hard I try, I do not see Heath in the sculpt. Their John Conner looks better to me, and that is just 'MMS', correct? Btw, I wasn't even aware of MMS or MMS DX until today. What came before this?

To me, this is just like the John Connor. It looks like perfect Ledger in the teaser shot, the angle and lighting and all of the latest not so much. The Connor shots were the same, some were like holy ^^^^ that's Bale, others were like, not so much or had to fight to see it.

The latest Cop shot is great for showing the realism of the face, but it's poor at showing off the portrait's likeness.

I hate ragging on photographers, especially because the HT work lately is really good, but it is so important when you shoot a piece that is meant to resemble a real person, you light it and capture it in angles that make that likeness shine through, you don't want to obscure it or hinder it. I take 3-10 photos from the same angles sometimes of a figure just to find the most optimum lighting and zoom and all to capture how well it looks like who it's supposed to be and I toss out shots that hurt the presentation of the figure. They're not all great photos, but I think at least most of what I post represents the piece properly.

Well, we don't know what accessories this figure will come with. I'm hoping there will be that extra outfit and neat items to justify the "DX" and potential price hike.

If its two full figures including accessories and two bodies, the whole shebang then I'll gladly pay $300 for the MMSDX. If its $300 because it includes a jacket, some grenades and another head then I'll be happily on the sidelines of this one.
