[D'oh!]

I got the regular version from Dark Shadow today, and he's waaaay up there on the Awesome Scale to be sure. I love the distressed outfit and the wisps of hair on the head.

That is pretty crazy that retailers are shipping these out way before people who ordered direct got them. Odd that this happened with both 138 and the RFT... yet not with Mundi?

Mundi is a site exclusive. Retailers should not have any of him unless they used their own accounts to order them, and therefore have him for sale above retail.

But this is a very annoying new trend of Sideshow's. Why order directly through them anymore unless it is an amazing exclusive?

Ok, talked with Kathy as Sideshow and she said we should be getting shipping notifications by the end of the week for the exclusives.

Dusty said it's what the factory ships out first, but I don't totally believe it. I think the dealers actually need theirs first so they can obtain strong sales. Still, with Pre-Order Scalpers/Flippers, it dosen't help them much. With the current prices on regular editions, I don't see how these guys are making a profit.

Yeah, I didn't go that much into detail with her. I was planning to cancel my order but figured I could wait another week or two since I've waited this long already. It'll just be another xmas gift to myself

I have a feeling that they aren't shipped from the factory directly to Sideshow's warehouse. They might get shipped to the different retailers from the factory or just to a middleman who handles all the containers once they get stateside.

I disagree. Some of my favorite Romero zombies are the ones who walk around toting pieces of their previous life. It's not out of the question to imagine this guy getting bit and clutching to his stick (with all his belongings) while dying then awakening as a zombie and wandering off dragging it.

Although, modernizing him with a 1:6 scale shopping cart would've been cooler.

I may pick up a regular at some point down the line. I'm just burned out on the DEAD line (again).

I really think this line is just starting to get good. There are Marvel pieces that I regret missing out on and a few other figures because I thought I didnt need them at the time.

But with the exception of the babysitter, I really value this line and if sideshow sticks to it some of these beginning pieces will be the most sought after a few years down the road.
