Thought fans of the Doctor would appreciate knowing that the 12" Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) by Underground Toys, as well as all the small figures and Tardis set, will be available in the USA in January. Big Bad Toy Store has the 12" Doctor up for pre-order at $13. Somebody posted a repainted one here someplace that looked pretty good. 12" Cyberman is also $13.

The prices on all the Underground Toys product beats eBay and UK shipping, and BBTS also has some Product Enterprises and the older Dapol Doctor Who stuff, but the 12" PE Tom Baker isn't listed yet.

CSC has them for $12 Not sure which one has better shipping. I will get the cyberman for sure.

Living in the UK I've had quite a few of the smaller figures for a while and would recommend them to any US collector as they are great. The detail, articulation and in particular the scale is fantastic, the Werewolf from the Episode "Tooth And Claw" towers over the rest of the figures and is probably my favorite so far. I have a 12" Cyberman and he is also excellent,I wish all figures in this scale were "good to go" straight out of the box. I don't have the 12" David Tennant Doctor fig as IMO it's not that great but I'll be getting another regular Cyberman and a Cyber Controller at some point. I recently read an interview with the head of Product Enterprises about their Doctor Who products and he said the Tom Baker Doctor figure has been put back until sometime next year so that's probably why it hasn't shown up for pre-order yet.

The 12" David Tennant (or ten inch (go figure) as Billie Piper called him on a TV interview last night) Doctor is very much a "toy"...although the Product Enterprise Tom Baker looks really good.

Just got the good Dr. and the Cyberman from ebay. I won't go into the UK seller who sends something to the US in JUST A PLASTIC BAG, after charging 18 pounds for shipping 1.5 pounds.

But anyway - the Dr. is very inconsistent. The shoes, head and sonic screwdriver are very well sculpted and in scale - something you don't usually see on the 12" toy level. The outfit isn't bad although it's missing his signature overcoat. The body is horrible though and he can't stand up. I don't do much customizing nowadays, but he's got to go on another body.

Anyone know where I can find a trench for him? Now where's Rose?

I send stuff from the UK all the time... and that is just outrageous :google

Could you show pictures? I'm starting to watch Doctor Who now and I'm curious about how 12 inch figures of the show look.

So far in 12" I have the Doctor, a Cyberman and a Clockwork Man. I only have the Doctor unpackaged so I can't comment on the others yet, but I agree about the body. Still, these were meant as toys for kids so I didn't expect too much.

They only thing that bothers me is that my Doctor looks cross-eyed! I've got him posed with the sonic screwdriver in front of his nose but is bugs me enough I may do my first attempt at repainting.

Still, the Clockwork Man looks beautiful.

In case anyone is interested, I read that Whona could be getting the 12" Doctor in spacesuit and 12" Ood next week.

I was very impressed by the Doctor, especially for a 'toy' - even functional pockets in which to keep his sonic screwdriver. Shame about the velcro though. You might hit a slight snag when it comes to removing the head; CO have glued it on there. A dunk in hot water will probably help but I managed to prise mine off. Swapped over onto a slimline Dragon body he looks pretty darned good.

Trenchcoat - not easy to find; the best I can suggest is DiD's Franz Freigel's (e.g. https://onesixthdepot.com/cart/product_info.php?cPath=39&products_id=3920 )though you might need a little bit of sticky stuff remover to clean up after the collar insignia... and all those buttons have Nazi insignia on. Quality bit of tailoring though.

Sadly a 1/6th Rose doesn't look terribly likely :( Apparently we will be getting a 12" Martha this year though.

I'd really love to collect this line. The new Doctor in the Space suit he wore in the episode The Satan Pit Looks amazing, I think it's an exclusive somewhere so it'll make it much harder to acquire.
I thought I heard these were being imported into the States does anyone have info on where to find these over here?

For the Trench coat, how about finding a spare Conner MacLeod trench and staining it brown?

I'm in the US and have gotten all of mine at whona.com . They say on their message board that they should have the 12" 10th Doctor in Space suit and 12" Ood up for sale on Monday. Currently they have the 12" Cyberman and the 12" Cyberleader. I think they said they plan to try to get the various exlusives.

I think alienentertainmentstore.com has had them too but I haven't bought from there in a long time.

If you aren't in the US I hope someone else can help.

Thanks for that - just ordered the cyberleader and Clockwork man from there. I didn't even know that Clockwork Man existed! Why no love for the first series though? Ood, spacesuit doctor are from the same episodes and Clockwork was just a couple before that. Where's the Eccleston and Cap'n Jack (and Rose, of course)?

I'm just now working through the DVDs of Series 2, so I just saw these episodes for the first time within a matter of days.
