WOAH, I just noticed something REALLY IMPORTANT, and now I feel like a complete goober. Buffy is holding a stake in her left hand!!! I may buy this statue afterall.

Even if she is, it's still not enough for me at least. Lets see whats's going on with the base. It just doesn't scream or even whisper Buffy to me from that picture.

More concept images of the upcoming statues, these are really starting to take shape.

I love those magical Willow ones, and the style of the bases. Not too keen on Spike though, his pose reminds me of the Fonz! Caleb looks really menacing which I like, the same goes for Glory who really suits the tooned up style.

All of the Buffy and Willow designs look fabulous. I especially like Dark Willow. It looks like the regular Willow comes from the episode I suggested for a PF Willow..."Tough Love." Does anyone else think that the Buffy OMWF design actually looks a tad better than the final product? I just like the 2D face better than the 3D one.

I'm glad to hear that Spike is being worked on because I'm not a big fan of the pose. What exactly is he doing with his left hand?

The pool cue (or scythe) can be replaced with a stake...cool!

Sideshow must have made a mistake. I found it with a search, but it's not listed in the SDCC section. I think I'll just wait until tomorrow to order.

It may be a mistake, but it is directly accessible from the Booth map, so it doesn't take any clandestine methods to get to it. Mine is ordered!

I see what you're saying, but to be fair, the statue is really supposed to be viewed from from the right. In other words, you're supposed to be looking at Buffy's left side. Look at the art that the statue is based on. The statue is true to the art.

In the picture of the statue above, the viewer needs to move a bit to the right. And in the picture of the statue below, the viewer needs to move a bit to the left.
