Matrix

MJ Beat It

Batman - but maybe Nolan's 3rd installment, not a figure but a license announcement for the 3rd? :dunno

Yep, Matrix, MJ and prolly Gordon, as they hinted earlier.

For a Keaton, they would have to make an announcement of acquiring the license along with a Figure tease. It would be nice as they could sell a ton of Nicholson Jokers too, but I think Jack controls the Joker 89 licensing, n'est pas?

Seeing as how Jack gets a percentage of the merchandising I'm sure he'd have no problem whoring himself out.

Considering HT's working relationship on Marvel's Iron Man films, I'd expect a Thor or Cap America announcement following after this, maybe in Jan or Feb.

I also wonder if they'll be doing the Green Lantern, Flash franchises?

My guess is an Adam West Batman since the preview has a round head with small bat ears and a short cape which would be more reflective of the TV costume than the Keaton movie versions.

Good point! :horror

There is no spoon ...

... couldn't resist. Looking forward to the announcement !
:lol:lol:lol

Did they do that with the Terminator? I thought the teaser just went up followed by the figure specs and pics. I don't remember them announcing it, only hints.

Speaking of specs, this is what I'm dreaming of.

MMS# Batman (1989)

- Batman head
- Bruce Wayne head
- Batarangs (one with the rope, one that folds, and more regulars)
- Spear Gun (Grappel Gun)
- Smoke pellets
- Pneumatic wrist shield (similar to the TDK OC pneumatic mangler)
- Line Launcher
- Bolo gun
- Ninja Star
- Detailed body armor
- Magnetic Belt
- Black turtle neck (optional)
- Blue jeans (optional)
- Glasses (optional)
- Multiple hands

- Box design that replicates the armor vault. The accessories in a foam tray on the door, just like the film.

well, ht did batman and is now doing supes. both are dc. i think green lantern and flash will be a no brainer.

I'm down for a new HT Batman line. I highly doubt its an Adam West line though. Keaton's the more obvious choice unless they are making figures from the Arkham games which would be awesome!

Matrix should be an interesting line. Too bad I'm not that big a fan but I still can't wait to see what's in store.

I remember emailing Hot Toys a few months ago asking if they would ever consider making a Beat It Mike figure. I even pitched them an idea to also include a Motown 25 outfit, kinda like the Thriller 2-in-1. Regardless, I just hope they use a headsculpt similar to the original prototype for Thriller Michael, just with longer hair.

As for Keaton Batman... Bring It Hot Toys!

I'm starting to see things that aren't there.

"I want you to do me a favor, I want you to tell Hot Toys about me."

"What are you!?!"

"I'm MMS# Batman."

The Batman image seems so casual to me. Neither Keaton any of the other recent Batmen were relaxed. What if for some miracle it's an Adam West Batman?

That would be awesome (and far cooler than a Keaton Bats, IMO), but I think they just had difficulties figuring out an image that could refer to Batman for their little announcement, and resorted to a generic Batman outline.

Most collectors want Keaton Bats obviously, so I predict that's where they're gonna go if they can.

An Adam West Batman would be cool but there's that whole thing with Fox.
