Probably the the most popular one! i wonder what have been if he staid like that? will never know :monkey2

They could make a full black fabric leotard suit underneath and put plastic pieces (chest plate, biceps, leggings) over it like the film. It sure would last a hell of alot longer and you'd get more pose ability out of it. It would be better than a 2 or three piece rubber suit.

That would be ideal, but you can't expect them to do that and not have a price that reflects that. People here like to complain about pricing a lot without taking into account what is being offered.

Coming soon to the DC Section:

Poll: Should Hot Toys replace all of our TDK figures now that they have developed a better bat suit?

95% YES
5% LOL

True story.

Man, oh, man... If it is the Matrix license, we're in for a treat. Imagine replacing these with better-looking clothing, more articulation, loads of accessories, and lifelike headsculpts (assuming they have the likeness rights, which they'd better).

Don't forget Should Hot Toys Be Wasting Valuable Resources On Keaton Batman When We Don't Have Rachel Yet?

Sadly there are alot of people that think that way. Maybe not Rachel but Gordon comes to mind.

I think I just hate the way the DK batsuit looks in figure form. There is too much custom heath joker heads or vaguely different shirt or socks or something. I'm happy with the bank robber one. That toy kicks ass.

I was a huge matrix fan, but I would probably only by this if he has all the guns in the jacket. and that video of the spoon...man that ____ did not really hold up over time.

I watch the matrix on vhs ftw

If its Keaton Batman I hope they do it completely right first time out so the a*n*a*l customisers don't make me feel like my figure is inferior because of their fancy capes, shortened necks and reshaped cowls! :lol

Yeah, true.

Yeah I did, until that second part. We're on the same page now. In terms of story yeah both the 1989 and Begins suit are armored suits.

I agree that it sucks that the suits prohibit a certain movement but also taking the "story" into account we're not supposed to know that their movement is restricted (until The Dark Knight pointed it out). Batman is all about dynamic poses.

I'm sure a 1/6 Keaton Batman figure would have more movement options than the film suit, just like the TDK OC before it. I don't really like rubber suits, but what are you going to do? The '89 suit is the closest thing to the comic book costume, especially the Neal Adams design. A few things are exaggerated like the scalloped cowl around the emblem and the belt and boots and gauntlets but it's pretty similar unlike the other incarnations.

is it me or does Tim Burton look a lot like the guy that was stuck on the subway in Ghost?

No figure ever comes perfect hence there will always be customizers who will try to make it closer to perfection. Just a fact of life.

And I love it.

Well, at least I live in Tokyo. If nothing else I can go see whatever it is they're alluding to on Christmas day.

I don't think they're releasing any new figures, that's just a picture of a t-shirt design they're working on for us fans :lol
