Why is T-800 from the Terminator doing so badly against T2 T-800?

This is why I voted T1 - T2 is a no brainer but T1 really needed the votes because its less likely what with seperate likeness rights having to be obtained. I'm disappointed by the results so far. Plus NECA have just put out the best T2 figure we have since 1991. While I still want Hot Toys to do one it seems less essential than T1 Tech Noir now. Oh well, theres probably no point campaigning, anyone who sees this thread is going to click on the link straight away and vote without reading any of the posts here.

Glad to see this poll though. At least we have it confirmed that they plan to do Arnie T-800s now.

Well, since you can vote only one I voted T2 T-800. That is the most iconic look IMO and I also think T2 is the better movie.

Having said that... I'd really love to see HT make a T1 T-800 and TX too! And why stop there?

I say: Hot Toys get the rights to T:TSCC and give us a Cameron too!!!

Yeah okay, I guess you're right about that... But with the Police station look, there's also the fact that he doesn't have eyebrows anymore. I think that looks weird.

So if Hot Toys decides to make a T1 T-800, be it a DX version with 2 outfits and headsculpts or just 2 versions, I'll go for the Tech Noir look.

I too would prioritise the Tech noir look with the hairstyle from early in the film since the original T1 figure already did the Police station shootout outfit albeit without a decent headsculpt.

I prefer the technoir outfit as well. But I'd use the BD headsculpt for it.

The MMS02 police station T1, seriously need the updated HT treatment IMO. There's still plenty of room to improvise, use of the muscle body, with scarring like marcus, for example.

WTH? What's wrong with the 'old-school' HT Terminator? I'd LOVE to have a non battle-damaged T1 T-800, but seeing as there are absolutely no HT T2 figs, I would really like to see a T2 Arnie.............
