The body is an INCREDIBLE upgrade!

The plastic feels much softer, like a very strong polyurethane mix.

So far, it looks like it is bulkier, as well. Comparison pics coming up.

Also, the hand fittings have been redesigned. A much skinnier post, to the point that the hands from TESB Fett and ROTJ Fett are not compatible.

I must admit, this Boba Fett looks fantastic. I am so tempted to pick this one up. Nice pics!!

I think they started using a thinner post in 08. The first I noticed it on were the Fist of the Northstar series. They even fit on Hot Toys figures and vice versa.

As wonderful as TESB Boba Fett is, this one absolutely blows it away!

I'm certainly not trying to pick a fight, but I don't believe it is galactically possible for Sideshow to get anywhere NEAR this figure. The pics do not do it full justice.

Of course, if Sideshow happens to come within a mile of this one, then we definitely win!

It feels heavier. And like I said, not as hard and brittle.

It's also stockier. The arms are still very thin, but overall the figure just seems like more of an adult man than the twig that Jeremy Bulloch/the older RAH figure was. The ankles easily move side to side/forward and back, even though they have boots that restrict full articulation. Put it this way - I have no concerns whatsoever about posing this one, even coming from the nightmare that the older body was/is.

And I'll guarantee this - I'll be getting another one of these new bodies to transfer TESB Boba Fett's armor to. Not to rub it in to anyone's face (seriously), but it seems like we have a winner here, fellas. Apparently Medicom has heard the feedback, and stepped up their game. I'm curious what other owners of both have to say. I couldn't be happier.

Additionally, the jumpsuit is MUCH improved at the ankles. The spats look amazing, and are so much better than the first attempt.

I might have to get one of these now! I'm seriously lacking Boba Fett in any form, the new one looks so much better than the ESB Boba....
