Question for those that own this new version of Boba Fett:

Is the helmet removable? If so, is there a Jango head or just a blank head underneath?

I have heard that the helmet is not removable and also that it IS removable but has the blank head.

Thanks in advance for your time!

Damn that looks good.

Throw that ESB Boba bucket on the new one and you have the best 1/6th Fett figure around.

I'd be interested to see this too.

:lecture:lecture:lecture That does look good. When mine hit's I'm probably gonna look into thickening up the arms and legs somehow. In that shot, that's the only thing I can see (other than the orange which I can live with) that kinda bugs me.

why? is the the ESB fett helmet more accurate?

I would also lower the jet pack as well. Just a minute thing that bothered me on my ESB fett.

My nitpick on the figure would be the armor over the shoulders, it has a tendency not to sit tightly on them, just like on the ESB figure.
But I'm sorely tempted to get this, it really does look wonderful.

As far as the mandible actually being red, then yeah. Although now, the problem would be that the actual green on the ESB figure's helmet might be a lighter shade than the one on this new version and might not match the armor's shade of green:panic:

Remember, though, that the additional footage filmed for ROTJ Special Edition featured the original ROTJ armor paired with TESB helmet. All of the newer photographs featuring Boba Fett use this combination, as well. Only the additional shot of Fett from ANH featured the correct armor and helmet (which was the ROTJ version). And the green of any helmet was not a perfect match to any armor, ever.

Though one of my biggest gripes about the Medicom TESB Fett helmet was the green ears, which never appeared on any version of the Boba Fett helmets.

This is the ROTJ armor with TESB helmet (newer publicity photo/combination used in ROTJ-SE):

that's true, so there you have it. ESB helmet on the RotJ Fett and you have what should be the best 1/6th representation of Fett out there

My favorite Fett is the original ROTJ version. I'm -slightly- bummed that the helmet is still incorrect.

I'll try to swap them out when I get home. Although I wonder if the neck/head attachment point is the same size balljoint. Especially considering we know that the hand posts aren't the same.

See the above photo. Depending on the build of the person wearing the armor (which has been several), sometimes they sat snug, other times they flared out.

Has anyone else received the figure, or just me?

I want to see other people's pictures!

The proportions on that figure actually look right. He doesn't suffer from the long leg/short torso syndrome of HT figures.

AE has him arriving next week. Hopefully that translates to a next Friday delivery to me. The the pictures will flow.

Rubio what base do you have him on?

Just the ugly-*** Medicom base that he came with. Except for the flying shot. That's the Hot Toys Iron Man Mark IV base.

Do you have any scale comparison picks of Boba Fett with Sideshow's figures rubio? He looks really cool but I don't know if I should just continue being patient and wait for sideshows. I really like the paint aps on this one though. However, I don't want to bother if he doesn't fit in with the rest of my collection.
