awesome:clap is that the base they come with now?

Actually it's an old Sideshow Dungeon base that I wasn't using. I ran into the problem that others have mentioned about the provided stand not working due to the jetpack. I thought about not using a stand, but one fall for BF would be pretty bad news.

Shouldnt Jango, Boba, and the Clones all be exactly the same size. since they are ultimately the same person?

Being a clone and the "same person" aren't the same thing. They have the same genetic make-up but there are a lot of external factors that determine a persons physiology beyond genetics. Stuff like how much exercise they have (and what age they started working out), what they eat and the gravity of wherever they "grew up" would effect height (among other things).

The "Republic Commando" novels also mention that Jango was shorter than the average clone due to malnourishment when he was a child (apparently the dude had a rough childhood). So depending who your talking to, his shortness its technically cannon...

I always thought with the original Boba and Jango figures, the neck was too short. I hoped that this would have been fixed with the newer releases. Apparently not.

Oh ok. Yeah I've never read those books, or bothered to look up what the gravity on Kamino is like. :wink1: I know the clones in particular were altered to grow faster and not be so "free thinking" save a few, such as Commander Cody. I never really thought about other factors like diet and exercise before though so your argument make sense.

I should start reading more SW books. I used to and really enjoyed the few i did.

Mine arrives this Weds., can't wait to add to my collection .

Based on the photos it looks like it stacks up fairly well scale wise to the SS figures is this correct ??

Wow. And I thought this figure was going to be crap.:slap

I haven't messed around with Star Wars or Medicom in a looong time as I had turned my attention 100% to Hot toys offerings but damn, this Boba here is off the charts.:clap

I own the ESB version but this things blows it away..:thud:

I need to find one..:lecture:gah:

That new Boba looks pretty cool. I'm impressed. The new Jango looks not so hot and I'm happy with my previous medicom version.

:exactly:

was hoping that the awesomeness of the new Boba meant that new Jango would be even better than his predecessor. All I like on the new Jango is the jump suit color

pretty disappointed in him considering how awesome the Boba is:monkey2

Well...just judging from your pic here, the jumpsuit color looks more muted(better), the chest pieces look better attached to the "leather" jerkin (squared up and even), the neck plate rides a little higher and closes the gap, the whole chest looks a little broader/the thighs are a little bigger, the belt/pouches/holsters look a little lighter tan....so...between the two, I like the new one better.

Is Jango also on this newer body folks have been mentioning that the Boba is on? And how is the portrait, compared to the earlier version (paint apps, et al?)

He is awfully short though....especially compared to Rex (understandable since the Medi's are traditionally shorter anyway, eh?)

Got my Boba Fett yesterday. The fold down scope on the helmet was broken inside the packaging.:gah: Took the golden plate off, and glued the pieces back together and now it is fine. Also chest armor is not securely glued on. Otherwise great figure. Poses so naturally and looks like a real tiny man in a costume.:panic:

Mine arrives tomorrow , in case I encounter any of these problems what type of glue did you use?
