Thanks for all the awesome pics everyone. I was mulling it over in my mind deciding for over a week about whether or not to buy these..last night ordered both :)

So does the visor actually look red in person? My brother is a HUGE fan of Fett, but was refusing to get this one because of the orange visor. I convinced him he will definitely still be worth it, and harder to get later if he changes his mind. I hope I'm right and didn't have him waste his money. :dunno

When I look at mine I don't see orange, mine looks red/maroon under my lighting. My pictures look pretty close to the real thing except its not as bright in real life. I always tweak the contrast on my pictures.

That's my opinion.

Need more Jango pics

Looks like the tip of Jango's blaster is bent or cast poorly.
Paint on the jet pack looks a tad sloppy.
Somebody marked Jango's face with a felt pen where his scars are supposed to be...:monkey1

Got Boba today and it blows the ESB version out of the water in every aspect including paint, outfit and detail . The scale is pretty muc in line with the SS Pro body and fits in pretty well with most SS figures.

I pretty musch have no desire to own my ESB Fett any longer , I already boxed it up and will put it up for sale soon. My Medi Jango and maybe Yoda mat soon follow.

Well I made a few mods to my Boba since I got him.

I moved the shoulder armor down to the sleeves of the vest.

Then I tried to remove the helmet from the dummy head. The dummy head/neck is too centered in the helmet so the side profile looked a little off. I couldn't get it loose since it is glued in really well but I was able to get the head loose enough to wedge a big cotton ball up between the dummy face and the front of the helmet. That helps push the dummy head towards the back of the helmet and makes the side profile a little more accurate.

I still need to gloss the visor up. I also want to add a hose to the left gauntlet and I am also considering lowering the jet pack so it isn't so close to the back of the helmet.

some better comparsion pics between the old and new. Learned to stop taking pics with flash so forget about how the colors looked on my old pics. Keep in mind I swapped jetpacks on them.

Face and helmet looks exactly the same and unchanged to me

New body is definitely more sturdy and doesn't feel as brittle as the original

The mods looks great! :clap

I totally second lowering the jetpack. It made a great improvement (to my eye) on my esb boba.

Think I found the materials I was looking for to replace the hose to the gauntlet. I found some security cables which are a clear coating over a braided wire. It looks good with the wire in it but it pretty stiff so I removed the braided wire inside. It leaves a thin, flexible clear tubing that retains the braided wire look. I think it will look much better than the white tubing they used.

I will throw some pictures up tonight when I get home.

The new Jango looks pretty good too. I wish they would have done something different with the materials for the holster harnesses. As the plastic on the first version I have is starting to rip.

I might end up tracking one down myself.
